It finds that investment in intangible capital by 2002 is almost as large as the investment in physical capital. This result is in line with similar findings for the U.S. and the U.K. Furthermore, the growth in GDP and labor productivity may be underestimated by as much as 0.1 percentage point per year during this same period. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2009/240 606 $aGross domestic product$zCanada$xEconometric models 606 $aLabor productivity$zCanada$xEconometric models 606 $aInvestments$zCanada$xEconometric models 606 $aInvestments: General$2imf 606 $aMacroeconomics$2imf 606 $aPublic Finance$2imf 606 $aData Processing$2imf 606 $aDatabases$2imf 606 $aNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: General$2imf 606 $aGeneral Aggregative Models: General$2imf 606 $aData Collection and Data Estimation Methodology$2imf 606 $aComputer Programs: General$2imf 606 $aInvestment$2imf 606 $aCapital$2imf 606 $aIntangible Capital$2imf 606 $aCapacity$2imf 606 $aPublic finance & taxation$2imf 606 $aData capture & analysis$2imf 606 $aExpenditure$2imf 606 $aNational accounts$2imf 606 $aData collection$2imf 606 $aIntangible capital$2imf 606 $aData processing$2imf 606 $aExpenditures, Public$2imf 606 $aNational income$2imf 606 $aEconomic statistics$2imf 606 $aSaving and investment$2imf 606 $aElectronic data processing$2imf 607 $aCanada$2imf 615 0$aGross domestic product$xEconometric models. 615 0$aLabor productivity$xEconometric models. 615 0$aInvestments$xEconometric models. 615 7$aInvestments: General 615 7$aMacroeconomics 615 7$aPublic Finance 615 7$aData Processing 615 7$aDatabases 615 7$aNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: General 615 7$aGeneral Aggregative Models: General 615 7$aData Collection and Data Estimation Methodology 615 7$aComputer Programs: General 615 7$aInvestment 615 7$aCapital 615 7$aIntangible Capital 615 7$aCapacity 615 7$aPublic finance & taxation 615 7$aData capture & analysis 615 7$aExpenditure 615 7$aNational accounts 615 7$aData collection 615 7$aIntangible capital 615 7$aData processing 615 7$aExpenditures, Public 615 7$aNational income 615 7$aEconomic statistics 615 7$aSaving and investment 615 7$aElectronic data processing 676 $a338.192368 700 $aBelhocine$b Nazim$01087661 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund.$bWestern Hemisphere Dept. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910811772603321 996 $aTreating Intangible Inputs as Investment Goods$93963890 997 $aUNINA
