The return of political stability and peace to the country created a favorable environment for better governance, resumption of international assistance, and significant reduction in exterior public debt. The Government?s medium-term economic policy for 2013?2017 will essentially be used to build and consolidate the foundations for Togo?s future economic emergence. The focus will be on new priorities: boosting growth; employment and inclusion; strengthening governance; and reducing regional disparities and promoting grassroots development. Designing a national land-use plan will territorialize development by creating a more balanced national economic space. The new land-use scheme will be based on dynamic, competitive, regional economies in which the urbanization of regional capitals and secondary towns is sufficiently controlled to allow true development hubs to emerge. 410 0$aIMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;$vNo. 2014/224 606 $aEconomic assistance, Domestic$zTogo 606 $aPoverty$zTogo 606 $aMacroeconomics$2imf 606 $aDemography$2imf 606 $aPoverty and Homelessness$2imf 606 $aEducation: General$2imf 606 $aWelfare, Well-Being, and Poverty: General$2imf 606 $aDemographic Economics: General$2imf 606 $aLabor Economics: General$2imf 606 $aHealth: General$2imf 606 $aEducation$2imf 606 $aPoverty & precarity$2imf 606 $aPopulation & demography$2imf 606 $aLabour$2imf 606 $aincome economics$2imf 606 $aHealth economics$2imf 606 $aPoverty$2imf 606 $aPopulation and demographics$2imf 606 $aLabor$2imf 606 $aHealth$2imf 606 $aPopulation$2imf 606 $aLabor economics$2imf 607 $aTogo$xAppropriations and expenditures 607 $aTogo$2imf 615 0$aEconomic assistance, Domestic 615 0$aPoverty 615 7$aMacroeconomics 615 7$aDemography 615 7$aPoverty and Homelessness 615 7$aEducation: General 615 7$aWelfare, Well-Being, and Poverty: General 615 7$aDemographic Economics: General 615 7$aLabor Economics: General 615 7$aHealth: General 615 7$aEducation 615 7$aPoverty & precarity 615 7$aPopulation & demography 615 7$aLabour 615 7$aincome economics 615 7$aHealth economics 615 7$aPoverty 615 7$aPopulation and demographics 615 7$aLabor 615 7$aHealth 615 7$aPopulation 615 7$aLabor economics 676 $a339.46 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910809788503321 996 $aTOGO$9634461 997 $aUNINA
