The study of these hoards provides a wealth of new information on the archaeological contexts in which they were found, on the dating of many coin types and jewelry, and on the social role of gold in pre-Roman society. All these hoards seem to have been buried in the 50's BC, thus making a direct association with the historical context of Caesar's war campaigns in Northern Gaul very plausible. This makes the volume important for archaeologists as well as numismatists and historians. 410 0$aAmsterdam archaeological studies ;$v18.$x1385-7347. 606 $aGoldwork, Celtic$zNetherlands 606 $aGoldwork, Celtic$zBelgium 607 $aNetherlands$xAntiquities 615 0$aGoldwork, Celtic 615 0$aGoldwork, Celtic 676 $a936.01 701 $aRoymans$b Nico$0800853 701 $aCreemers$b G$g(Guido)$01723149 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910807236203321 996 $aLate Iron Age gold hoards from the Low Countries and the Caesarian conquest of northern Gaul$94124163 997 $aUNINA
