Prison conditions must not infringe human rights and dignity and must offer meaningful treatment programmes in order to support inmates in their rehabilitation and reintegration in society. The use of ICTs within a penitentiary context plays a crucial role in that. The present Volume looks at the learning potential in prisons and reports on innovative (e-)learning pathways for basic skills education as designed and tested in Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Romania. Research investigated on what counts as 'educational' in such a complex context and how to combine relevant pieces in a 'learning mosaic' (the broad range ofany learning opportunity across it). This Volume argues that such an approach may be adopted in a wider European perspective within the frame of dynamic security. It features more than 360 cases and over 1,000 images, divided by region, that follow a standard format: images, history, findings, diagnosis, discussion and "Aunt Minnie's Pearls," which reinforce the key features of each case while providing a quick review of salient points. The cases represent all modalities and cover all subspecialties tested on the oral boards. This edition contains new classic cases and online access containing all the cases from the book plus additional cases"--Provided by publisher. 606 $aDiagnostic imaging$vAtlases 615 0$aDiagnostic imaging 676 $a616.07/54 702 $aPope$b Thomas Lee$cJr., 801 0$bMiFhGG 801 1$bMiFhGG 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910807088403321 996 $aAunt Minnie's atlas and imaging-specific diagnosis$94063254 997 $aUNINA
