For several decades now, the conservation of contemporary art has been a dynamic field of research and reflection. Because of contemporary art?s variable constitution, its care and management calls for a fundamental rethinking of the overall research landscape of museums, heritage institutions, private-sector organizations and universities. At first, this research was primarily pursued by conservation professionals working in or with museums and other heritage organizations, but increasingly academic researchers and universities became involved, for instance through collaborative projects. This book is the result of such collaboration. It sets out to bridge the ?gap? between theory and practice by investigating conservation practices as a form of reflection and reflection as a form of practice. 410 0$aStudies in Art, Heritage, Law and the Market,$x2524-7433 ;$v9 606 $aConflict of laws 606 $aConflict of laws 606 $aInternational law 606 $aComparative law 606 $aLaw$xPhilosophy 606 $aLaw$xHistory 606 $aCultural property 606 $aArchaeology 606 $aPrivate International Law, International and Foreign Law, Comparative Law 606 $aTheories of Law, Philosophy of Law, Legal History 606 $aCultural Heritage 606 $aSources and Subjects of International Law, International Organizations 606 $aHeritage Management 615 0$aConflict of laws. 615 0$aConflict of laws. 615 0$aInternational law. 615 0$aComparative law. 615 0$aLaw$xPhilosophy. 615 0$aLaw$xHistory. 615 0$aCultural property. 615 0$aArchaeology. 615 14$aPrivate International Law, International and Foreign Law, Comparative Law. 615 24$aTheories of Law, Philosophy of Law, Legal History. 615 24$aCultural Heritage. 615 24$aSources and Subjects of International Law, International Organizations. 615 24$aHeritage Management. 676 $a340.9 700 $aVall$b Rene?e van de$f1956-$01504923 701 $aSaaze$b Vivian van$f1975-$0888273 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910799279803321 996 $aConservation of Contemporary Art$93870708 997 $aUNINA
