Conclusion -- $tAppendix -- $tReferences 330 $aOver the last decades, it has been hotly debated whether and how compounds, i.e. word-formations, and phrases differ from each other. The book discusses this issue by investigating compounds and phrases from a structural, semantic-functional and, crucially, cognitive perspective. The analysis focuses on compounds and phrases that are composed of either an adjective and a noun or two nouns in German, French and English. Having distinguished compounds from phrases on structural and semantic-functional grounds, the author claims that compounds are by their nature more appropriate to be stored in the mental lexicon than phrases and supports his argument with empirical evidence from new psycholinguistic studies. In sum, the book maintains the separation between compounds and phrases and reflects upon its cognitive consequences. 410 0$aStudia grammatica ;$v82. 606 $aMemory$xPsycholinguistics 606 $aGrammar, Comparative and general$xSyntax 606 $aGrammar, Comparative and general$xAnalysis 610 $aAdjective Phrase. 610 $aCompound. 610 $aMental Lexicon. 610 $aNoun Phrase. 615 0$aMemory$xPsycholinguistics. 615 0$aGrammar, Comparative and general$xSyntax. 615 0$aGrammar, Comparative and general$xAnalysis. 676 $a415/.92 686 $aER 940$qSEPA$2rvk 700 $aSchlechtweg$b Marcel$f1989-$01549221 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910796626203321 996 $aMemorization and the compound-phrase distinction$93807039 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01230nam 2200385 450 001 9910807346503321 005 20230817182009.0 010 $a1-78040-962-1 035 $a(CKB)4100000009158553 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL5892155 035 $a(OCoLC)1119636429 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5892155 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000009158553 100 $a20191004d2019 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAnaerobic sewage treatment $eoptimization of process and physical design of anaerobic and complementary processes /$fAdrianus van der Haandel and Jeroen van der Lubbe 210 1$aLondon :$cIWA Publishing,$d2019. 215 $a1 online resource (452 pages) 311 $a1-78040-961-3 606 $aSewage$xPurification$xAnaerobic treatment 615 0$aSewage$xPurification$xAnaerobic treatment. 676 $a628.354 700 $aHaandel$b Adrianus van der$01676947 702 $aLubbe$b Jeroen van der 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910807346503321 996 $aAnaerobic sewage treatment$94043442 997 $aUNINA
