With contributions from over 350 experts in the field, it highlights the diverse schools of psychotherapy, tracing their histories and traditions, while underlining their specific strengths in dealing with human behaviours, feelings and perceptions in the contemporary world. The book traceseight principal paradigms: psychodynamic, behavioural, existential-humanistic,body-expression, systemic-relational, cognitive, interactional-strategicand eclectic. It presents to the expert and non-expert reader an array of models that grew from a specific paradigm, sharing the same fundamental epistemology and therapeutic strategies. This is accomplished through a reader-friendly approach that presents clear definitions of the key constructs of each paradigm, and transversal concepts that are common to the diverse practices of psychotherapy. The International Dictionary of Psychotherapy provides a clear picture of the numerous types of psychotherapeutic treatments and their applications, while offering a close examination of the efficacy and evaluative methods developed as a result of numerous debates and research carried out within the psychotherapeutic community. It represents an essential resource for psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic practitioners and students, regardless of background or creed. 606 $aPsychotherapy$vDictionaries 615 0$aPsychotherapy 676 $a616.89/1403 700 $aNardone$b Giorgio$f1958-$0126108 702 $aSalvini$b Alessandro 801 0$bOCoLC-P 801 1$bOCoLC-P 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910793579103321 996 $aInternational dictionary of psychotherapy$93841854 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02897nam 22005053 450 001 9910794649803321 005 20231110215443.0 010 $a94-6426-005-X 035 $a(CKB)4100000011946103 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC28623555 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL28623555 035 $a(OCoLC)1253830230 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011946103 100 $a20210901d2021 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aDorestad and Its Networks $eCommunities, Contact and Conflict in Early Medieval Europe 205 $a1st ed. 210 1$aLeiden :$cSidestone Press,$d2021. 210 4$d©2021. 215 $a1 online resource (218 pages) 225 1 $aPapers on Archaeology of the Leiden Museum of Antiquities 25 ;$vv.25 311 $a94-6426-003-3 330 $aDorestad was the largest town of the Low Countries in the Carolingian era. As a riverine emporium on the northern edge of the Frankish Empire, it functioned as a European junction, connecting the Viking world with the Continent. In 2019, the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden hosted its quinquennial international congress based around Dorestad, located at present-day Wijk bij Duurstede. This third edition, 'Dorestad and its Networks', coincided with the fiftieth birthday of finding the famous Dorestad brooch in July 1969, and with what would have been the hundredth birthday of prof.dr. Ina Isings, to whom a special session on early-medieval glass was dedicated. The Third Dorestad Congress brought together scholars from the North Sea area to debate Dorestad and its counterparts in Scandinavia, the British Isles and the Rhineland, as well as the material culture, urbanisation and infrastructure of the Early Middle Ages. The contributions in these proceedings are devoted to new research into the Vikings at Dorestad, assemblages of jewellery, playing pieces and weaponry from the town, recent excavations at other Carolingian sites in the Low Countries, and the use and trade of glassware and broadswords in this era. They show the political, economic and cultural networks of Dorestad, the only town to be called 'vicus famosus' in contemporary sources. 410 0$aPapers on Archaeology of the Leiden Museum of Antiquities 25 517 $aDorestad and Its Networks 606 $aAntiquities 606 $aDorestad (Extinct city) 606 $aExcavations (Archaeology) 615 0$aAntiquities. 615 0$aDorestad (Extinct city). 615 0$aExcavations (Archaeology). 676 $a949.201 700 $aWillemsen$b Annemarieke$01571268 701 $aKik$b Hanneke$01571269 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910794649803321 996 $aDorestad and Its Networks$93845586 997 $aUNINA
