Como a?rea natural asi? protegida, son casi 400 000 hecta?reas de gran biodiversidad, en las que habitan al menos 15 tipos y subtipos de vegetacio?n diferente, ma?s de 1800 especies de plantas, 124 de hongos y 550 especies de vertebrados, entre otros elementos que comprueban la riqueza natural de la regio?n.
