Im Jahr 2011 wurde TIMSS gemeinsam mit ihrer Schwesterstudie der Internationalen Grundschul-Lese-Untersuchung (IGLU 2011) durchgeführt. In diesem Band werden erste Ergebnisse einer gemeinsamen Auswertung von Zusammenhängen der drei erfassten Kompetenzbereiche Leseverständnis (IGLU), Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften (TIMSS) untersucht und kompetenzübergreifende Leistungsprofile von Schülerinnen und Schülern am Ende der Grundschulzeit beschrieben.
