Nowadays, it becomes increasingly clear that inflammatory responses to microbial and damaged-host stimuli facilitate tumorigenesis and cancer. Both arms of immunity, innate and adaptive, are playing a role in promoting cancer. Undoubtedly, many microbial species, well-known and opportunistic pathogens and possibly beneficial commensals, contribute to inflammation and cancer predisposition. Indeed, their influence on chronic disease is sometimes difficult to discern, especially in the context of polymicrobial communities. In this light, model organisms provide important insights into immune and growth signals that promote cancer, and suggest therapies that will selectively target harmful microbes or modulate host responses. A number of manuscripts in this series will address novel aspects and paradigms of microbiome-immunity-epithelial cell interaction that lead to carcinogenesis. 606 $aPathology$2HILCC 606 $aMedicine$2HILCC 606 $aHealth & Biological Sciences$2HILCC 610 $amicrobiota 610 $amouse 610 $ainnate immunity 610 $aDrosophila 610 $adiet 610 $aaging 610 $ahuman 610 $aHologenome 615 7$aPathology 615 7$aMedicine 615 7$aHealth & Biological Sciences 700 $aYiorgos Apidianakis$4auth$01365482 702 $aApidianakis$b Yiorgos 702 $aFerrandon$b Dominique 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 912 $a9910137238903321 996 $aModel organisms in inflammation and cancer$93387421 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03216nam 2200661 450 001 9910794301303321 005 20220609065746.0 010 $a1-5261-2164-6 010 $a1-5261-5829-9 010 $a1-5261-2163-8 035 $a(CKB)4100000011319994 035 $a(OCoLC)1176455024 035 $a(MdBmJHUP)muse82639 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6234104 035 $a(StDuBDS)EDZ0002526815 035 $a(DE-B1597)658789 035 $a(DE-B1597)9781526121639 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011319994 100 $a20200228e20212020 fy| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|||||||nn|n 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aGerman expressionism $eDer Blaue Reiter and its legacies /$fedited by Dorothy Price 210 1$aManchester :$cManchester University Press,$d2021. 215 $a1 online resource $cillustrations (some color) 225 1 $aManchester scholarship online 300 $aPreviously issued in print: 2020. 311 $a1-5261-2162-X 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aIntroduction : why does Der Blaue Reiter still matter? / Dorothy Price and Christopher Short -- Is Der Blaue Reiter relevant for the twenty-first century? It offers a perspective on familiar aspects of expressionism and abstraction, taking seriously the inheritance of modernism for the twenty-first century. 410 0$aManchester scholarship online. 606 $aBlaue Reiter (Group of artists) 606 $aExpressionism (Art)$zGermany 606 $aArt, German$y20th century 610 $aAugust Macke. 610 $aExpressionism. 610 $aFranz Marc. 610 $aGabriele Münter. 610 $aGermany. 610 $aPaul Klee. 610 $aWassily Kandinsky. 610 $aabstraction. 610 $aart. 610 $amodern art. 615 0$aBlaue Reiter (Group of artists) 615 0$aExpressionism (Art) 615 0$aArt, German 676 $a759.3 702 $aPrice$b Dorothy C$g(Dorothy Cilla),$f1969- 801 0$bStDuBDS 801 1$bStDuBDS 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910794301303321 996 $aGerman expressionism$93784566 997 $aUNINA
