Green technologies for recycling waste, particularly electronic waste, which is increasing at an alarming rate, may be a potential solution to environmental pollution. Divided into three sections, this book presents comprehensive information on green technologies. Section 1 presents innovations in green electronic technologies, Section 2 discusses recycling and waste management, and Section 3 discusses innovation and economics in global green technologies. 606 $aTechnological innovations$xManagement$xEnvironmental aspects 606 $aIndustrial management$xEnvironmental aspects 606 $aCompetition, International 615 0$aTechnological innovations$xManagement$xEnvironmental aspects. 615 0$aIndustrial management$xEnvironmental aspects. 615 0$aCompetition, International. 676 $a658.4/08 702 $aSaban$b Avraham 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910688488703321 996 $aInnovation in Global Green Technologies 2020$91952042 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03516nam 2200541 450 001 9910793984603321 005 20231004230253.0 010 $a90-272-6204-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000009587971 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5941792 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000009587971 100 $a20191111d2019 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aDiscourse and political culture $ethe language of the third way in Germany and the UK /$fMichael Kranert 210 1$aAmsterdam ;$aPhiladelphia :$cJohn Benjamins Publishing Company,$d[2019] 210 4$dİ2009 215 $a1 online resource (xviii, 298 pages) 225 1 $aDiscourse approaches to politics, society and culture 311 0 $a90-272-0421-7 311 08$aPrint version: 9789027262042 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 330 $a"Even if political actors try to align their political efforts because they think they share a common goal, they will adapt a global ideology to local political circumstances in order to convince the local electorate. Local contexts are reflected in political discourse on the level of genre, lexis, argumentation, and metaphor. In order to understand the relation between the political contexts and political language use, this book presents a new approach to comparative politico-linguistic discourse analysis. The developed methodology stands in the tradition of transdisciplinarity and combines analytical tools from linguistic discourse analysis (catch term analysis, metaphor analysis, argumentation analysis, genre analysis) and political science (political culture, comparative politics, morphology of ideologies, identity of party-political ideologies). It is comprehensive in its introduction of approaches from the German tradition of politico-linguistics that have so far not been accessible to a non-German speaking readership and that add valuable insights into the mechanics of political discourse. Using the example of the modernisation discourses in social democratic parties in Britain and Germany, a project that was named 'Third Way', this study demonstrates how political language and political culture are related. At the same time, it presents new insights into the German political culture and the version of Third Way discourses in the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) under the leadership of Gerhard Schro?der which have played a key role in shaping current political discourse in Germany"--$cProvided by publisher. 410 0$aDiscourse approaches to politics, society, and culture ;$v86. 606 $aDiscourse analysis$xPolitical aspects$zGermany 606 $aDiscourse analysis$xPolitical aspects$zGreat Britain 606 $aCommunication in politics$zGermany 606 $aCommunication in politics$zGreat Britain 606 $aPolitical culture$zGermany 606 $aPolitical culture$zGreat Britain 615 0$aDiscourse analysis$xPolitical aspects 615 0$aDiscourse analysis$xPolitical aspects 615 0$aCommunication in politics 615 0$aCommunication in politics 615 0$aPolitical culture 615 0$aPolitical culture 676 $a401.410943 700 $aKranert$b Michael$01554306 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910793984603321 996 $aDiscourse and political culture$93815469 997 $aUNINA
