Held in honour of Sir John Boardman's 90th birthday, the congress took place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, 3-5 May, 2017. The volume first presents eight contributions by the keynote speakers who, as friends and students of Sir John, present a debate and a problematisation of Greek Art from the archaeological and historical point of view. Thereafter, 45 papers are divided into the different themes considered during the congress, all of which have greatly benefited from Sir John's researches throughout his long and distinguished academic career: Sculpture, Architecture, Terracotta and Metal, Greek Pottery, Coins, Greek History and Archaeology, Greeks Overseas, Reception and Collecting, Art and Myth. 410 0$aArchaeopress archaeology. 606 $aArt, Greek$vCongresses 615 0$aArt, Greek 676 $a709.38 700 $aMorais$b Rui$01121127 702 $aMorais$b Rui 702 $aLea?o$b Delfim Ferreira 702 $aRodri?guez Pe?rez$b Diana 702 $aFerreira$b Daniela 702 $aBoardman$b John$f1927- 712 02$aFundac?ao Calouste Gulbenkian, 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910793724403321 996 $aGreek art in motion$93860417 997 $aUNINA LEADER 00886nam a22002171i 4500 001 991004365238507536 005 20250205093506.0 008 250205s1984 it a fr 001 0 mul d 040 $aBibl.
