In conversation with writers such as Salman Rushdie and Charles Taylor and prompted by T.S. Eliot's Murder in the Cathedral, I show that Christian discipleship is not the path of establishing oneself securely, or pursuing the good made possible 410 0$aT & T Clark theology. 606 $aMartyrdom 606 $aSelf (Philosophy) 615 0$aMartyrdom. 615 0$aSelf (Philosophy) 676 $a272.01 700 $aJensen$b Michael P$0141617 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910792323503321 996 $aMartyrdom and identity$93869411 997 $aUNINA
