In presenting Sokdokpa?s career and legacy, Gentry traces the theme of power objects across a wide spectrum of genres to show how Tibetan Buddhists themselves have theorized about objects of power and implemented them in practice. This study therefore provides a lens into how power objects serve as points of convergence for elite doctrinal discourses, socio-political dynamics, and popular religious practices in Tibetan Buddhist societies. 410 0$aBrill's Tibetan studies library ;$vvolume 40. 606 $aPower (Christian theology)$xReligious aspects$xBuddhism 606 $aRnying-ma-pa (Sect) 606 $aRnying-ma-pa lamas$zChina$zTibet Autonomous Region$vBiography 615 0$aPower (Christian theology)$xReligious aspects$xBuddhism. 615 0$aRnying-ma-pa (Sect) 615 0$aRnying-ma-pa lamas 676 $a294.3/923092 676 $aB 700 $aGentry$b James Duncan$01585090 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910792319703321 996 $aPower objects in Tibetan Buddhism$93869375 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01263nam0-2200349---450 001 990009985190403321 005 20250416114029.0 010 $a9788856831078 035 $a000998519 100 $a20150717d2010----km-y0itay50------ba 101 0 $aita 102 $aIT 105 $a--------101yy 200 1 $aCambiamenti nel sistema alimentare$enuovi problemi, strategie, politiche$e46.
