The use of force in international relations has been severely curtailed by pragmatic considerations of international order, and further constrained by positive international law. In Northeast Asia, the prohibition of aggression has remained uncontested. Strict adherence to non-intervention in Northeast Asia has, however, increasingly come under attack from internal and external normative communities. The contributors, therefore, use regional legal, normative, cultural, and historical insights to shed light on the contemporary positions of Northeast Asian political communities with regard to the use of force. 410 0$aStudies on East Asian Security and International Relations$v2. 606 $aSecurity, International$zAsia 606 $aNational security$zAsia 606 $aIntervention (International law) 606 $aWar (International law) 607 $aAsia$xMilitary policy 607 $aAsia$xPolitics and government 615 0$aSecurity, International 615 0$aNational security 615 0$aIntervention (International law) 615 0$aWar (International law) 676 $a327.1/17095 701 $aHowe$b Brendan M$01140510 701 $aKondoch$b Boris$01580154 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910792144203321 996 $aThe legality and legitimacy of the use of force in Northeast Asia$93860862 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02238oas 2200673 a 450 001 9910689595103321 005 20250610213023.0 011 $a2373-8294 035 $a(OCoLC)49778772 035 $a(CONSER) 2004230468 035 $a(CKB)2550000001347986 035 $a(EXLCZ)992550000001347986 100 $a20020513a19979999 ua a 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBiennial survey of depository libraries $eresults 210 $aWashington, DC $cSupt. of Docs., Library Programs Service, U.S. G.P.O 215 $avolumes $cdigital, PDF files 311 08$a2373-8286 330 $aA brief biennial survey of all libraries participating in the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), supplementing less frequent in-depth inspections.
