In the formulae of the oral gospel the apocalyptic expectations are adapted into a "doubled" or "split" eschatology: The Messiah has appeared, but the messianic reign is still the object of expectation. The experience with Jesus' post Easter impact has been named as "resurrection" of which God was the subject. Since the apocalyptic "resurrection" applied for many or all people, the resurrection of Jesus became a guarantee of hope. The last chapters analyze the role of the oral gospel in shaping the earliest literary Gospel (Mark). This book analyses Gospels as texts that (re-)introduced Jesus traditions into the Christian liturgy and literature. Concluding paragraphs are devoted to the titles of the individual Gospels and to the origins of the idea of Christian canon. 410 0$aBeihefte zur Zeitschrift fu?r die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kunde der a?lteren Kirche ;$vBeiheft 195. 606 $3(DE-601)104161795$3(DE-588)4129954-1$aFrühchristentum$2gnd 606 $3(DE-601)106245015$3(DE-588)4035964-5$aLiteratur$2gnd 606 $3(DE-601)106334719$3(DE-588)4015915-2$aEvangelium$2gnd 606 $3(DE-601)106382365$3(DE-588)4005248-5$aBegriff$2gnd 606 $aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / New Testament$2bisacsh 610 $aGospel. 610 $acanon. 610 $aeschatology. 610 $agospel of Mark. 610 $aoral tradition. 615 7$aFrühchristentum 615 7$aLiteratur 615 7$aEvangelium 615 7$aBegriff 615 7$aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / New Testament. 676 $a225.6 686 $aBC 7400$2rvk 700 $aPokorny?$b Petr$f1933-$0923933 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910792058903321 996 $aFrom the Gospel to the Gospels$93823777 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01221nam 2200325 n 450 001 996395037003316 005 20240126111300.0 035 $a(CKB)3810000000008831 035 $a(EEBO)2240889532 035 $a(UnM)9927544200971 035 $a(UnM)99825539 035 $a(EXLCZ)993810000000008831 100 $a19941025d1671 uy | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn#|||a|bb| 200 02$aA speech made to His Highnesse the Prince of Orange$b[electronic resource]$efrom the French Church in the Savoy, pronounced by Monsieur de Breual, chaplain in ordinary to His Majesty, and one of the ministers belonging to that church.
