It attempts to redefine criteria and borders of a discipline situated roughly between Judaica Rossica and Rossica Judaica. The monograph describes a series of important literary Russian-Jewish cultural events and figures belonging synchronically or diachronically to both disciplines. Thus it unites within a new conceptual framework the data accumulated by scholars and disciplines that exist separately in different research spaces that do not overlap, Jewish Studies and the history of Russian culture. The emerging picture shows the development of a historical plot along the axis of acculturation and anti-Semitism, accepting and/or trying to be accepted, being rejected and/or rejecting, and being within or without. 410 0$aStudia Judaeoslavica$v7. 606 $aAntisemitism$zRussia 606 $aJews in literature 606 $aRussian literature$xHistory and criticism 606 $aRussian literature$xJewish authors 615 0$aAntisemitism 615 0$aJews in literature. 615 0$aRussian literature$xHistory and criticism. 615 0$aRussian literature$xJewish authors. 676 $a891.709/8924 701 $aKatsis$b Leonid$01539604 701 $aTolstoy$b Helen$01539605 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910790901203321 996 $aJewishness in Russian culture$93790563 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03713nam 22009255 450 001 9910973521203321 005 20240508223234.0 010 $a9786611364366 010 $a9781281364364 010 $a1281364363 010 $a9781403979087 010 $a1403979081 024 7 $a10.1057/9781403979087 035 $a(CKB)1000000000342722 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000100616 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11124596 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000100616 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10037025 035 $a(PQKB)11659598 035 $a(DE-He213)978-1-4039-7908-7 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC307581 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL307581 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10135485 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL136436 035 $a(OCoLC)312463915 035 $a(Perlego)3497814 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000342722 100 $a20151130d2005 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aAIDS in Latin America /$fby T. He brings issues such as sexuality, class, and religious beliefs into the open for the first time. Compelling interviews with activists, people with AIDS, government leaders, and church leaders-all show how the epidemic has developed. Frasca draws lessons from Latin America and the strong activist involvement that succeeded in increasing government resources to fight the disease. Tragic tales and gripping narratives are intermixed with the first set of comprehensive epidemic statistics from the continent, eagerly awaited by the World Health community. 606 $aEconomic development 606 $aDevelopment economics 606 $aEthnology$zLatin America 606 $aCulture 606 $aAmerica$xHistory 606 $aEthnology 606 $aSociology 606 $aDevelopment Studies 606 $aDevelopment Economics 606 $aLatin American Culture 606 $aHistory of the Americas 606 $aEthnography 606 $aSociology 615 0$aEconomic development. 615 0$aDevelopment economics. 615 0$aEthnology 615 0$aCulture. 615 0$aAmerica$xHistory. 615 0$aEthnology. 615 0$aSociology. 615 14$aDevelopment Studies. 615 24$aDevelopment Economics. 615 24$aLatin American Culture. 615 24$aHistory of the Americas. 615 24$aEthnography. 615 24$aSociology. 676 $a362.196/9792/0098 700 $aFrasca$b Tim$01791664 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910973521203321 996 $aAIDS in Latin America$94329381 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02574oam 2200661zu 450 001 9910140089403321 005 20240220210341.0 010 $a2-8218-4624-X 024 7 $a10.4000/books.cemca.2626 035 $a(CKB)2560000000352095 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001539809 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11864636 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001539809 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11533385 035 $a(PQKB)11024294 035 $a(WaSeSS)IndRDA00044008 035 $a(FrMaCLE)OB-cemca-2626 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/41285 035 $a(PPN)185661998 035 $a(oapen)doab41285 035 $a(EXLCZ)992560000000352095 100 $a20160829d1993 uy 101 0 $aspa 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aArqueología de las Lomas en la cuenca lacustre de Zacapu, Michoacán, México 210 $cCentro de estudios mexicanos y centroamericanos$d1993 210 31$a[Place of publication not identified]$cCentro de Estudios Mexicanos y Centroamericanos$d1993 215 $a1 online resource (231 pages) 225 1 $aCuadernos de Estudios Michoacanos ;$v5 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 08$a968-6029-35-4 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 330 1 $a"Report of a 1983-86 investigation by a team of French archaeologists describes results of survey, surface collections, and test excavations, along with larger scale excavations of a stratified mortuary site dating ca. 100 BC - AD 500.
