The articles deal with films, graphic novels, computer games, web series, the performing arts, journalism, reality games, music, musicals, and the representation of impossibilities. The essays demonstrate how new media and genres as well as unnatural narratives challenge classical forms of narration in ways that call for the development of analytical tools and modelling systems that move beyond classical structuralist narratology. The articles thus contribute to the further development of both transmedial and unnatural narrative theory, two of the most important manifestations of postclassical narratology. 410 0$aNarratologia ;$v42. 606 $aMass media 606 $aNarration (Rhetoric) 606 $aStorytelling in mass media 606 $aDiscourse analysis, Narrative 606 $aMass media and language 610 $aNarrative theory. 610 $afilm studies. 610 $aliterary studies. 610 $amedia studies. 615 0$aMass media. 615 0$aNarration (Rhetoric) 615 0$aStorytelling in mass media. 615 0$aDiscourse analysis, Narrative. 615 0$aMass media and language. 676 $a302.23 686 $aEC 4500$2rvk 702 $aAlber$b Jan$f1973- 702 $aHansen$b Per Krogh 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910788956103321 996 $aBeyond classical narration$93673279 997 $aUNINA
