A memoir in essay form, Ninety9 is about the loneliness of adolescence, the importance of friendship, and the magical enclaves to be discovered in the city. Illustrated with the author's drawings and photos, it provides a guide to the end of the millennium for those who were too young to be there, 606 $aPopular culture$xHistory$y20th century 606 $aNineteen ninety-nine, A.D$xPsychological aspects 606 $aSuburban life in popular culture$xPsychological aspects 606 $aLoneliness in adolescence 615 0$aPopular culture$xHistory 615 0$aNineteen ninety-nine, A.D.$xPsychological aspects. 615 0$aSuburban life in popular culture$xPsychological aspects. 615 0$aLoneliness in adolescence. 676 $a781.66 700 $aBerry$b Vanessa$f1978-$01497805 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910787666503321 996 $aNinety 9$93723063 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02635nam 2200421z- 450 001 9910136798003321 005 20210211 035 $a(CKB)3710000000631142 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/49466 035 $a(oapen)doab49466 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000631142 100 $a20202102d2016 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aHistory of Chemoattractant Research 210 $cFrontiers Media SA$d2016 215 $a1 online resource (61 p.) 225 1 $aFrontiers Research Topics 311 08$a2-88919-701-8 330 $aIn the Research Topic "History of Chemoattractant Research" we will portray some of the key discoveries that helped to transform cell migration research into a global playing field within immunology (and beyond). Early progress had a profound effect on both, academia and industry. Today, numerous academic laboratories are fully engaged in compiling a detailed road map describing the highly complex network of immune and tissue cells that respond to chemoattractants. Industrial research, on the other hand, centers on drugs that interfere with immune cell traffic in inflammatory diseases and cancer. The following series of "short stories" provide personal accounts on key discoveries. The individual molecular discoveries enabled numerous research laboratories worldwide to unravel their significance in steady-state or pathological immune processes. Although ground-breaking in their own right, it is therefore worth emphasizing that rapid progress in chemoattractant research was made possible by many other laboratories who were not directly involved in the original discovery process. Therefore, the authors of this mini-series are discussing their findings in the context of time, place and subsequent progress enabled by their discoveries. It is hoped that a wide readership will find these accounts entertaining as well as educational although those who wish to gain a more detailed knowledge are referred to the many outstanding reviews on chemokines and other chemoattractants. 606 $aMedicine$2bicssc 610 $acell migration 610 $achemokine 610 $aChemotaxis 610 $aHoming 610 $aimmune surveillance 610 $aImmunity 610 $aInflammation 610 $atumour 615 7$aMedicine 700 $aBernhard Moser$4auth$01279679 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910136798003321 996 $aHistory of Chemoattractant Research$93015838 997 $aUNINA
