Baseline economic growth is projected to accelerate to 5.2 percent in 2014 and beyond, up from just under 4 percent in 2012. This projection is based on an acceleration of economic growth in the construction sector in response to massive investment outlays by mining companies. Private investment is projected to increase from 17.8 percent of GDP in 2012 to more than 40 percent in 2014. The PRSP proposes a sharp increase in funding for education as a share of total public expenditures over the PRSP period, while total fiscal resources also increase. 410 0$aIMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;$vNo. 2013/190 606 $aPoverty$zGuinea 606 $aNatural Resource Extraction$2imf 606 $aSocial Services and Welfare$2imf 606 $aPoverty and Homelessness$2imf 606 $aEducation: General$2imf 606 $aWelfare, Well-Being, and Poverty: General$2imf 606 $aGovernment Policy$2imf 606 $aProvision and Effects of Welfare Program$2imf 606 $aIndustry Studies: Primary Products and Construction: General$2imf 606 $aHealth: General$2imf 606 $aEducation$2imf 606 $aPoverty & precarity$2imf 606 $aSocial welfare & social services$2imf 606 $aExtractive industries$2imf 606 $aHealth economics$2imf 606 $aPoverty$2imf 606 $aPoverty reduction$2imf 606 $aMining sector$2imf 606 $aHealth$2imf 606 $aEconomic sectors$2imf 606 $aMineral industries$2imf 607 $aGuinea$xEconomic conditions 607 $aGuinea$2imf 615 0$aPoverty 615 7$aNatural Resource Extraction 615 7$aSocial Services and Welfare 615 7$aPoverty and Homelessness 615 7$aEducation: General 615 7$aWelfare, Well-Being, and Poverty: General 615 7$aGovernment Policy 615 7$aProvision and Effects of Welfare Program 615 7$aIndustry Studies: Primary Products and Construction: General 615 7$aHealth: General 615 7$aEducation 615 7$aPoverty & precarity 615 7$aSocial welfare & social services 615 7$aExtractive industries 615 7$aHealth economics 615 7$aPoverty 615 7$aPoverty reduction 615 7$aMining sector 615 7$aHealth 615 7$aEconomic sectors 615 7$aMineral industries 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910787665803321 996 $aGuinea$93670953 997 $aUNINA
