Long-term cost estimates are provided for Basel III capital and liquidity requirements, derivatives reforms, and higher taxes and fees. Overall, average lending rates in the base case would rise by 18 bps in Europe, 8 bps in Japan, and 28 bps in the United States. These results are similar to the official BIS assessments of Basel III and an OECD analysis, but lower as a result of including expense cuts and reductions in the returns required by investors. As a result, they are markedly lower than those of the IIF. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2012/233 606 $aFinancial institutions$xLaw and legislation 606 $aBank capital$xLaw and legislation 606 $aBank loans 606 $aBanks and Banking$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aMoney and Monetary Policy$2imf 606 $aFinancial Risk Management$2imf 606 $aBanks$2imf 606 $aDepository Institutions$2imf 606 $aMicro Finance Institutions$2imf 606 $aMortgages$2imf 606 $aInvestment Banking$2imf 606 $aVenture Capital$2imf 606 $aBrokerage$2imf 606 $aRatings and Ratings Agencies$2imf 606 $aFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and Regulation$2imf 606 $aFinancing Policy$2imf 606 $aFinancial Risk and Risk Management$2imf 606 $aCapital and Ownership Structure$2imf 606 $aValue of Firms$2imf 606 $aGoodwill$2imf 606 $aGeneral Financial Markets: Government Policy and Regulation$2imf 606 $aMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: General$2imf 606 $aFinancial Crises$2imf 606 $aFinancial services law & regulation$2imf 606 $aBanking$2imf 606 $aMonetary economics$2imf 606 $aEconomic & financial crises & disasters$2imf 606 $aLiquidity requirements$2imf 606 $aBasel III$2imf 606 $aCredit$2imf 606 $aCapital adequacy requirements$2imf 606 $aFinancial regulation and supervision$2imf 606 $aMoney$2imf 606 $aFinancial crises$2imf 606 $aBanks and banking$2imf 606 $aState supervision$2imf 606 $aAsset requirements$2imf 607 $aUnited States$2imf 615 0$aFinancial institutions$xLaw and legislation. 615 0$aBank capital$xLaw and legislation. 615 0$aBank loans. 615 7$aBanks and Banking 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aMoney and Monetary Policy 615 7$aFinancial Risk Management 615 7$aBanks 615 7$aDepository Institutions 615 7$aMicro Finance Institutions 615 7$aMortgages 615 7$aInvestment Banking 615 7$aVenture Capital 615 7$aBrokerage 615 7$aRatings and Ratings Agencies 615 7$aFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and Regulation 615 7$aFinancing Policy 615 7$aFinancial Risk and Risk Management 615 7$aCapital and Ownership Structure 615 7$aValue of Firms 615 7$aGoodwill 615 7$aGeneral Financial Markets: Government Policy and Regulation 615 7$aMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: General 615 7$aFinancial Crises 615 7$aFinancial services law & regulation 615 7$aBanking 615 7$aMonetary economics 615 7$aEconomic & financial crises & disasters 615 7$aLiquidity requirements 615 7$aBasel III 615 7$aCredit 615 7$aCapital adequacy requirements 615 7$aFinancial regulation and supervision 615 7$aMoney 615 7$aFinancial crises 615 7$aBanks and banking 615 7$aState supervision 615 7$aAsset requirements 676 $a346.436082 700 $aElliott$b Douglas$01471423 701 $aSantos$b Andre$01464131 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910786295603321 996 $aAssessing the Cost of Financial Regulation$93683712 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02637oam 22005172 450 001 9910968728703321 005 20251116185100.0 010 $a1-00-302637-0 010 $a1-000-02972-7 010 $a1-000-02764-3 010 $a1-003-02637-0 035 $a(CKB)4100000010347636 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6118504 035 $a(OCoLC)1129405438 035 $a(OCoLC-P)1129405438 035 $a(FlBoTFG)9781003026372 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31244940 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31244940 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000010347636 100 $a20191126d2020 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 12$aA practical guide to engineering, procurement and construction contracts /$fEric Eggink 205 $a1st ed. 210 1$aAbingdon, Oxon ;$aNew York, NY :$cRoutledge,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (177 pages) 225 1 $aPractical construction guides 300 $aIncludes index. 311 08$a0-367-34496-3 327 $aIntroduction -- Main Causes of Disputes in Construction Projects -- The Conception of an Idea for a Project -- The Employer's Requirements, the Conceptual Design and the Contract Conditions -- The Tendering for and Negotiating of a Contract -- The Basic Design and Engineering -- The Procurement of Services and Materials -- Construction -- Delays -- Testing the Works -- Taking-Over by the Owner -- Defects Liability Period -- Contract Management -- Working in a Consortium or a Joint Venture on a Project and the Difference Between the Two -- The Power Structure of a Joint Venture and a Consortium and the Decision-Making Process 330 $a"This book is a step-by-step practical guide on how to achieve successful projects in EPC/turnkey contracting and construction.
