The multidisciplinary character of this congress illustrates the present state of research in the socio-economic, historical and political developments of the Suso-Elamite region from prehistoric times until the great Persian Empire. Because of its strategically important location between the Mesopotamian alluvial plain and the Iranian highlands and its particular interest as point of contact between civilizations, Susa and Elam were of utmost importance for the history of the ancient Near East in general. 410 0$aMémoires de la Délégation en Perse$v58. 607 $aElam$xHistory 607 $aSusa (Extinct city)$vCongresses 607 $aElam$xAntiquities$vCongresses 607 $aSusa (Extinct city)$xHistory$vCongresses 607 $aElam$xHistory$vCongresses 607 $aSusa (Extinct city)$xLanguages$vCongresses 607 $aElam$xLanguages$vCongresses 607 $aSusa (Extinct city)$xGeography$vCongresses 607 $aElam$xGeography$vCongresses 676 $a935.01 701 $aGraef$b Katrien de$0636448 701 $aTavernier$b J$g(Jan)$01506704 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910786062203321 996 $aSusa and Elam$93737074 997 $aUNINA
