This accessible but serious introduction to the design problem brings together new perspectives from prominent scientists and philosophers including Paul Davies, Richard Swinburne, Sir Martin Rees, Michael Behe, Elliot Sober and Peter van Inwagen. It probes the relationship between modern science and religious belief, considering their po 606 $aTeleology 606 $aReligion and science 615 0$aTeleology. 615 0$aReligion and science. 676 $a212/.1 701 $aManson$b Neil A.$f1967-$01526111 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910783710603321 996 $aGod and design$93767958 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01178nas 2200349-a 450 001 9910142502703321 005 20240413024546.0 011 $a2045-8819 035 $a(CKB)111056648275074 035 $a(CONSER)--2003203042 035 $a(EXLCZ)99111056648275074 100 $a20020313a20009999 --- a 101 0 $aeng 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aPublic service review$iCentral government 210 $aNewcastle-under-Lyme [England] $cPublic Service Communication Agency 215 $a1 online resource 311 $aPrint version: Public service review.
