This is the first full-length study of his Prior Analytics commentary, and the first study to work from the medieval manuscripts. Kilwardby interprets Aristotle's syllogistic within a broad ontological context that includes the four causes, and concepts of degrees of perfection. His interpretation aims to preserve Aristotle's theses as correct; and he formulates semantic and syntactic hypotheses that achieve this aim with almost total perfection. The book includes an appendix offering a modern rendering of Kilwardby's original logical ideas. 410 0$aStudien und Texte zur Geistesgeschichte des Mittelalters ;$vBd. 92. 606 $aLogic, Medieval 615 0$aLogic, Medieval. 676 $a160.92 700 $aThom$b Paul$0525819 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910782568103321 996 $aLogic and ontology in the syllogistic of Robert Kilwardby$91221281 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04440nam 22006495 450 001 9910300230303321 005 20200630023145.0 010 $a1-4939-2035-9 024 7 $a10.1007/978-1-4939-2035-8 035 $a(CKB)3710000000355104 035 $a(EBL)1965009 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001452175 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11859294 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001452175 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11478737 035 $a(PQKB)10605681 035 $a(DE-He213)978-1-4939-2035-8 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1965009 035 $a(PPN)184493625 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000355104 100 $a20150204d2015 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aDuctal Carcinoma In Situ and Microinvasive/Borderline Breast Cancer /$fedited by Lisa A. Several of the challenging and clinically-relevant scenarios of DCIS that appear in daily practice is discussed, including the difficulties of distinguishing ?true? DCIS from borderline patterns of other breast diseases and the therapeutic implications of differentiating these various diagnoses. Particular attention is paid to pathologic evaluation of DCIS, including histologic patterns and the importance of margin evaluation/margin control. The text also explores the data regarding DCIS in medical research in hereditary susceptibility for breast cancer and race/ethnicity-associated disparities in breast cancer. Written by experts in the field, Ductal Carcinoma In Situ and Microinvasive/Borderline Breast Cancer is a comprehensive, state-of-the art review of the field, and serves as a valuable resource for clinicians, surgeons and researchers with an interest in breast cancer. 606 $aSurgery 606 $aCancer$xSurgery 606 $aGynecology 606 $aSurgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59001 606 $aSurgical Oncology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59150 606 $aGynecology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H26006 615 0$aSurgery. 615 0$aCancer$xSurgery. 615 0$aGynecology. 615 14$aSurgery. 615 24$aSurgical Oncology. 615 24$aGynecology. 676 $a610 676 $a616994 676 $a617 676 $a618.1 702 $aNewman$b Lisa A$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aBensenhaver$b Jessica M$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300230303321 996 $aDuctal Carcinoma In Situ and Microinvasive$91761786 997 $aUNINA
