As a consequence, richer panel data sets also have become increasingly available. This 2003 second edition is a substantial revision of the highly successful first edition of 1986. Advances in panel data research are presented in a rigorous and accessible manner and are carefully integrated with the older material. The thorough discussion of theory and the judicious use of empirical examples make this book useful to graduate students and advanced researchers in economics, business, sociology, political science, etc. Other specific revisions include the introduction of the notion of strict exogeneity with estimators presented in a generalized method of moments framework, the notion of incidental parameters, more intuitive explanations of pairwise trimming, and discussion of sample selection dynamic panel models. 410 0$aEconometric Society monographs ;$v34. 606 $aEconometrics 606 $aPanel analysis 606 $aAnalysis of variance 615 0$aEconometrics. 615 0$aPanel analysis. 615 0$aAnalysis of variance. 676 $a330/.01/5195 700 $aHsiao$b Cheng$f1943-$0626551 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910450016103321 996 $aAnalysis of panel data$91214912 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03690nam 2200661 a 450 001 9910782319303321 005 20230518054518.0 010 $a1-281-93678-2 010 $a9786611936785 010 $a90-474-2230-9 024 7 $a10.1163/ej.9789004162310.i-252 035 $a(CKB)1000000000553118 035 $a(EBL)468301 035 $a(OCoLC)646789531 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000102687 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11113795 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000102687 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10050507 035 $a(PQKB)11391682 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC468301 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789047422303 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL468301 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10270802 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL193678 035 $a(PPN)174398042 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000553118 100 $a20070924d2007 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aAmnesty for crimes against humanity under international law$b[electronic resource] /$fby Faustin Z. The inconclusiveness of international law on this issue - with positive international law and opinio juris calling for criminal prosecution, and State's practice favouring practical political solutions - does nothing more than deepen the confusion already affecting the international legality of national amnesties. Building on emerging trends in State's practice, this book attempts to clarify the question of the legality of national amnesties for crimes against humanity by suggesting a compromised legal framework within which amnesty and accountability can both be accommodated. 606 $aCrimes against humanity 606 $aWar crimes 606 $aPolitical crimes and offenses 606 $aAmnesty 615 0$aCrimes against humanity. 615 0$aWar crimes. 615 0$aPolitical crimes and offenses. 615 0$aAmnesty. 676 $a345/.0235 700 $aNtoubandi$b Faustin Z$0724724 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910782319303321 996 $aAmnesty for crimes against humanity under international law$91414157 997 $aUNINA
