It shows that using well-known, comprehensive interventions to tackle the seven leading risk factors - tobacco, alcohol, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, overweight, low fruit and vegetable intake, and physical inactivity - would largely prevent the seven leading conditions - ischaemic heart disease, unipolar depressive disorders, cerebrovascular disease, alcohol-use disorders, chronic pulmonary disease, lung cancer and road traffic injury. This creates a compelling argument for action. 606 $aHealth status indicators$zEurope 606 $aChild welfare$zEurope 606 $aHealth care reform$zEurope 606 $aMedical policy$zEurope 615 0$aHealth status indicators 615 0$aChild welfare 615 0$aHealth care reform 615 0$aMedical policy 676 $a362.1094 702 $aLund$b Sven 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910781233003321 996 $aThe European health report 2005$93694777 997 $aUNINA
