It is a unique publication based on a database maintained by the IMF that tracks exchange arrangements and foreign exchange systems for all member countries on an annual basis and also provides historical information on these. The introduction to the volume provides a summary of recent global trends and developments in the areas covered by the publication. Individual country chapters report exchange measures in place, the structure and setting of the exchange rate, arrangements for payments and receipts, procedures for resident and nonresident accounts, mechanisms for import and export payments and receipts, controls on capital transactions, and provisions specific to the financial sector. A separate section in each chapter lists changes made during 2005 and the first part of 2006. The AREAER draws on information made available to the IMF from a number of sources, including during official staff visits to member countries, and has been prepared in close consultation with national authorities. The information is presented in a tabular format. 410 0$aAnnual Report on Exchange Arrangements and Exchange Restrictions; 2006 606 $aForeign exchange$xLaw and legislation 606 $aExports and Imports$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aForeign Exchange$2imf 606 $aMoney and Monetary Policy$2imf 606 $aPublic Finance$2imf 606 $aMonetary Systems$2imf 606 $aStandards$2imf 606 $aRegimes$2imf 606 $aGovernment and the Monetary System$2imf 606 $aPayment Systems$2imf 606 $aTrade: General$2imf 606 $aTaxation, Subsidies, and Revenue: General$2imf 606 $aInternational Financial Markets$2imf 606 $aCurrency$2imf 606 $aForeign exchange$2imf 606 $aMonetary economics$2imf 606 $aInternational economics$2imf 606 $aPublic finance & taxation$2imf 606 $aFinance$2imf 606 $aCurrencies$2imf 606 $aExports$2imf 606 $aImports$2imf 606 $aLegal support in revenue administration$2imf 606 $aMoney$2imf 606 $aRevenue$2imf 607 $aSerbia, Republic of$2imf 615 0$aForeign exchange$xLaw and legislation. 615 7$aExports and Imports 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aForeign Exchange 615 7$aMoney and Monetary Policy 615 7$aPublic Finance 615 7$aMonetary Systems 615 7$aStandards 615 7$aRegimes 615 7$aGovernment and the Monetary System 615 7$aPayment Systems 615 7$aTrade: General 615 7$aTaxation, Subsidies, and Revenue: General 615 7$aInternational Financial Markets 615 7$aCurrency 615 7$aForeign exchange 615 7$aMonetary economics 615 7$aInternational economics 615 7$aPublic finance & taxation 615 7$aFinance 615 7$aCurrencies 615 7$aExports 615 7$aImports 615 7$aLegal support in revenue administration 615 7$aMoney 615 7$aRevenue 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910780746603321 996 $aAnnual Report on Exchange Arrangements and Exchange Restrictions 2006$93807578 997 $aUNINA
