But do they also apply it in the same manner? Although Article 7 of the CISG underscores "the need to promote uniformity in its application", it gives little guidance as to how to achieve this goal. Each judge and arbitrator is influenced by the legal methodology of his home jurisdiction. Therefore it is somewhat of a paradox that whilst the number of contracting states is constantly increasing so too is the threat of variation in application. In this book the most important issues of the CISG's methodology are analysed by leading experts from five continents. Whereas some authors provide a thorough analysis of the central topics of interpretation, others enter almost uncharted territories. 606 $aExport sales contracts 615 0$aExport sales contracts. 676 $a343/.0878 686 $a86.36$2bcl 700 $aJanssen$b André, $01719812 702 $aJanssen$b Andre$f1972- 702 $aMeyer$b Olaf$f1973- 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910819672603321 996 $aCISG methodology$94117964 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01424nas 2200505-a 450 001 996251292203316 005 20231116213017.0 011 $a1552-4167 035 $a(DE-599)ZDB2021480-7 035 $a(OCoLC)38540522 035 $a(CKB)954925473403 035 $a(CONSER)--2004215731 035 $a(EXLCZ)99954925473403 100 $a19980303a19779999 s-- a 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBehavior modification 210 $aThousand Oaks, CA $cSage Publications 215 $a1 online resource 300 $aRefereed/Peer-reviewed 311 $a0145-4455 531 $aBEHAV MODIF 531 $aBEHAV.
