It summarizes the author's optical-wireless communication coding work while carrying out pertinent scientific research programs. The primary topics covered in the book are channel coding, coding modulation, error control (channel coding), and channel equalization. The author's mathematical analysis and experimental studies on the key theoretical issues are discussed in the book. One of the book's outstanding aspects is its thorough and methodical discussion of practical optical-wireless communication challenges. This makes the book especially appealing to readers who are eager to learn about applicable solutions in this area. Researchers, engineers, and graduate students in the subject of telecommunications can all profit from the book. It is appropriate for senior undergraduates, lecturers at colleges and universities, graduate students, and engineering and technical workers involved in optical communication. 410 0$aOptical Wireless Communication Theory and Technology,$x2731-5975 606 $aTelecommunication 606 $aCoding theory 606 $aInformation theory 606 $aOptical communications 606 $aLasers 606 $aCommunications Engineering, Networks 606 $aMicrowaves, RF Engineering and Optical Communications 606 $aCoding and Information Theory 606 $aOptical Communications 606 $aLaser 615 0$aTelecommunication. 615 0$aCoding theory. 615 0$aInformation theory. 615 0$aOptical communications. 615 0$aLasers. 615 14$aCommunications Engineering, Networks. 615 24$aMicrowaves, RF Engineering and Optical Communications. 615 24$aCoding and Information Theory. 615 24$aOptical Communications. 615 24$aLaser. 676 $a621.382 700 $aKe$b Xizheng$01217647 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 912 $a9910881098703321 996 $aCoding Theory in Optical Wireless Communication Systems$94201755 997 $aUNINA LEADER 08467nam 2202317z- 450 001 9910557430203321 005 20210501 035 $a(CKB)5400000000043421 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/68380 035 $a(oapen)doab68380 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000043421 100 $a20202105d2021 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aNew Advances in High-Entropy Alloys 210 $aBasel, Switzerland$cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2021 215 $a1 online resource (652 p.) 311 08$a3-03943-619-8 311 08$a3-03943-620-1 330 $aIn recent years, people have tended to adjust the degree of order/disorder to explore new materials. The degree of order/disorder can be measured by entropy, and it can be divided into two parts: topological disordering and chemical disordering. The former mainly refers to order in the spatial configuration, e.g., amorphous alloys which show short-range ordering but without long-range ordering, while the latter mainly refers to the order in the chemical occupancy, that is to say, the components can replace each other, and typical representatives are high-entropy alloy (HEAs). HEAs, in sharp contrast to traditional alloys based on one or two principal elements, have one striking characteristic: their unusually high entropy of mixing. They have not received much noticed until the review paper entitled "Microstructure and Properties of High-Entropy Alloys" was published in 2014 in the journal of Progress in Materials Science. Numerous reports have shown they exhibit five recognized performance characteristics, namely, strength-plasticity trade-off breaking, irradiation tolerance, corrosion resistance, high-impact toughness within a wider temperature range, and high thermal stability. So far, the development of HEAs has gone through three main stages: 1. Quinary equal-atomic single-phase solid solution alloys; 2. Quaternary or quinary non-equal-atomic multiphase alloys; 3. Medium-entropy alloys, high-entropy fibers, high-entropy films, lightweight HEAs, etc. Nowadays, more in-depth research on high-entropy alloys is urgently needed. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $a(AlCrTiZrV)-Six-N films 610 $a(CoCrFeNi)100?xMox alloys 610 $aab initio 610 $aadditive manufacturing 610 $aalloy design 610 $aalloys design 610 $aannealing 610 $aannealing treatment 610 $aatom probe tomography 610 $aatomic-scale unstable 610 $aAZ91D magnesium alloy 610 $abcc 610 $abulk metallic glass 610 $aCALPHAD 610 $aCCA 610 $aCCAs 610 $acluster expansion 610 $acluster variation method 610 $acoating 610 $acoherent microstructure 610 $acomplex concentrated alloys 610 $acomplex stress field 610 $acomposite 610 $acomposition scanning 610 $acompositionally complex alloy 610 $acompositionally complex alloys 610 $acompressive properties 610 $aconfiguration entropy 610 $aconventional alloys 610 $acorrosion 610 $acorrosion behavior 610 $acreep mechanism 610 $aCrFeCoNi(Nb,Mo) 610 $aCurie temperature 610 $adeformation 610 $adeformation and fracture 610 $adeformation behaviors 610 $adeformation mechanism 610 $adensity functional theory 610 $adiamond 610 $adifferential scanning calorimetry (DSC) 610 $aelastic property 610 $aelectron microscopy 610 $aelemental addition 610 $aelemental partitioning 610 $aelemental powder 610 $aelevated-temperature yield strength 610 $aelongation prediction 610 $aentropy 610 $aeutectic dendrites 610 $afirst-principles calculation 610 $afirst-principles calculations 610 $aflow serration 610 $agamma double prime nanoparticles 610 $agraded material 610 $agrain refinement 610 $aHall-Petch (H-P) effect 610 $ahardening behavior 610 $ahardness 610 $aHEA 610 $aHEAs 610 $aheat-softening resistance 610 $ahierarchical nanotwins 610 $ahigh entropy alloy 610 $ahigh entropy alloys 610 $ahigh pressure 610 $ahigh-entropy alloy 610 $ahigh-entropy alloy coating 610 $ahigh-entropy alloys 610 $ahigh-entropy alloys (HEAs) 610 $ahigh-entropy ceramic 610 $ahigh-entropy film 610 $ahigh-entropy films 610 $ahigh-pressure torsion 610 $ahigh-temperature structural alloys 610 $aimmiscible alloys 610 $ain situ X-ray diffraction 610 $ainterface 610 $ainterstitial phase 610 $aion irradiation 610 $akinetics 610 $alaser cladding 610 $alaser metal deposition 610 $alattice constants 610 $alattice distortion 610 $alightweight alloys 610 $aliquid phase separation 610 $alow-activation alloys 610 $alow-activation high-entropy alloys (HEAs) 610 $amagnetic properties 610 $amagnetic property 610 $amatrix formulation 610 $amaximum entropy 610 $amechanical alloying 610 $amechanical behaviors 610 $amechanical characterization 610 $amechanical properties 610 $amechanical property 610 $amedium entropy alloy 610 $amedium entropy alloys, mechanical properties 610 $ametal matrix composites 610 $amicrohardness 610 $amicrostructural evolution 610 $amicrostructure 610 $amicrostructures 610 $amiscibility gaps 610 $amonte carlo 610 $aMPEAs 610 $amulti-principal element alloys 610 $amulticomponent 610 $amulticomponent alloys 610 $ananocomposite structure 610 $ananocrystalline 610 $ananocrystalline materials 610 $ananodisturbances 610 $ananoprecipitates 610 $ananoscaled high-entropy alloys 610 $apartial recrystallization 610 $aphase composition 610 $aphase constituent 610 $aphase constitution 610 $aphase evolution 610 $aphase stability 610 $aphase structures 610 $aphase transformation 610 $aphase transformations 610 $aphase transition 610 $aplasticity 610 $aplasticity methods 610 $apolymorphic transition 610 $apowder metallurgy 610 $aprecipitation 610 $aprecipitation kinetics 610 $arecrystallization 610 $arefractory high entropy alloys 610 $arefractory high-entropy alloys 610 $ascandium effect 610 $aserration behavior 610 $ashear band 610 $asodium chloride 610 $asolid solution strengthening effect 610 $asolid-solution 610 $asolid-solution alloys 610 $asolid-state diffusion 610 $asolidification 610 $aspark plasma sintering 610 $aspecific heat 610 $asputtering 610 $astacking-fault energy 610 $astrain rate sensitivity 610 $astrengthening 610 $astrengthening mechanisms 610 $astructural metals 610 $asulfuric acid 610 $atensile creep behavior 610 $atensile strength 610 $athermal expansion 610 $athermodynamic integration 610 $athermoelectric properties 610 $athin films 610 $atransmission electron microscopy 610 $avolume swelling 610 $awear 610 $awear behaviour 610 $awelding 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aZhang$b Yong$4edt$0464541 702 $aZhang$b Yong$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557430203321 996 $aNew Advances in High-Entropy Alloys$93024610 997 $aUNINA
