The way Spanish authorities supervise and oversee FMIs is an essential issue in promoting and maintaining domestic financial stability. Although systemically important payments systems are European or international based, there are currently four domestic securities settlement systems and three domestic central counterparties in Spain. Overall, authorities? responsibilities with respect to FMIs are clearly defined in the law, but further transparency on Banco de Espaņa?s (BdE) responsibilities with respect to FMIs other than payments systems is recommended. 410 0$aIMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;$vNo. 2012/144 606 $aFinance$zSpain 606 $aBanks and Banking$2imf 606 $aFinance: General$2imf 606 $aInvestments: General$2imf 606 $aPublic Finance$2imf 606 $aMonetary Systems$2imf 606 $aStandards$2imf 606 $aRegimes$2imf 606 $aGovernment and the Monetary System$2imf 606 $aPayment Systems$2imf 606 $aPublic Administration$2imf 606 $aPublic Sector Accounting and Audits$2imf 606 $aPension Funds$2imf 606 $aNon-bank Financial Institutions$2imf 606 $aFinancial Instruments$2imf 606 $aInstitutional Investors$2imf 606 $aBanks$2imf 606 $aDepository Institutions$2imf 606 $aMicro Finance Institutions$2imf 606 $aMortgages$2imf 606 $aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data)$2imf 606 $aFinance$2imf 606 $aPublic finance & taxation$2imf 606 $aBanking$2imf 606 $aInvestment & securities$2imf 606 $aPayment systems$2imf 606 $aPFM information systems$2imf 606 $aCentral counterparty clearing house$2imf 606 $aSecurities$2imf 606 $aFinancial markets$2imf 606 $aPublic financial management (PFM)$2imf 606 $aFinancial institutions$2imf 606 $aClearing and settlement systems$2imf 606 $aClearinghouses$2imf 606 $aFinance, Public$2imf 606 $aBanks and banking$2imf 606 $aFinancial instruments$2imf 607 $aSpain$xEconomic policy 607 $aSpain$2imf 615 0$aFinance 615 7$aBanks and Banking 615 7$aFinance: General 615 7$aInvestments: General 615 7$aPublic Finance 615 7$aMonetary Systems 615 7$aStandards 615 7$aRegimes 615 7$aGovernment and the Monetary System 615 7$aPayment Systems 615 7$aPublic Administration 615 7$aPublic Sector Accounting and Audits 615 7$aPension Funds 615 7$aNon-bank Financial Institutions 615 7$aFinancial Instruments 615 7$aInstitutional Investors 615 7$aBanks 615 7$aDepository Institutions 615 7$aMicro Finance Institutions 615 7$aMortgages 615 7$aGeneral Financial Markets: General (includes Measurement and Data) 615 7$aFinance 615 7$aPublic finance & taxation 615 7$aBanking 615 7$aInvestment & securities 615 7$aPayment systems 615 7$aPFM information systems 615 7$aCentral counterparty clearing house 615 7$aSecurities 615 7$aFinancial markets 615 7$aPublic financial management (PFM) 615 7$aFinancial institutions 615 7$aClearing and settlement systems 615 7$aClearinghouses 615 7$aFinance, Public 615 7$aBanks and banking 615 7$aFinancial instruments 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910779101703321 996 $aSpain$9520834 997 $aUNINA
