A complete overview of the most recent experimental results obtained worldwide on baryon spectroscopy is presented together with theoretical progress on related topics ranging from resonance parameters extraction to lattice-QCD calculations through effective field theory. Of particular interest, a large part of the book is devoted to exotic states with quantum numbers of pentaquarks, whose recent discovery represents a new chapter in hadro 517 3 $aProceedings of the Workshop on the Physics of Excited Nucleons 606 $aHadrons$vCongresses 606 $aParticles (Nuclear physics)$vCongresses 606 $aBaryons$vCongresses 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aHadrons 615 0$aParticles (Nuclear physics) 615 0$aBaryons 676 $a539.7/216 676 $a539.7212 701 $aBocquet$b Jean-Paul$0928488 701 $aKuznetsov$b Viatcheslav$0928489 701 $aRebreyend$b Dominique$0928490 712 12$aWorkshop on the Physics of Excited Nucleons 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910451346603321 996 $aNSTAR 2004$92086830 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03419nam 2200517 450 001 9910494571003321 005 20210614020432.0 010 $a0-472-90249-0 024 7 $a10.3998/mpub.11979108 035 $a(CKB)5600000000002149 035 $a(OCoLC)1256449981 035 $a(MdBmJHUP)muse99628 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6978300 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6978300 035 $a(MiU)10.3998/mpub.11979108 035 $a(EXLCZ)995600000000002149 100 $a20210614h20212021 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|||||||nn|n 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aLiberalism and transformation $ethe global politics of violence and intervention /$fDillon Stone Tatum 210 1$aAnn Arbor, Michigan :$cUniversity of Michigan Press,$d2021. 210 4$dİ2021 215 $a1 online resource (1 online resource xiii, 197 pages) 311 $a0-472-07505-5 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (pages 179-197) 327 $aIntro -- Half Title -- Title -- Copyright -- Dedication -- Contents -- Acknowledgements -- Chapter One: Introduction: Liberalism and Violence -- Chapter Two: The How of Emancipatory Liberalism -- Chapter Three: Transformation and Civilization: Liberalism, Empire, Intervention -- Chapter Four: Transformation and Self-Determination: Internationalists at War -- Chapter Five: Transformation and Totalitarianism: Intervention and Cold War Liberalism -- Chapter Six: Transformation and Terror: State Failure, Development, and Human Rights -- Chapter Seven: Conclusion: Toward a Minimalist Liberalism -- Notes -- Bibliography. 330 3 $aLiberalism and Transformation is the first scholarly work that explores the historical, philosophical, and intellectual development of global liberalism since the nineteenth century in the context of the deployment of violence, force, and intervention. Using an approach that includes interpretive and contextual analysis of texts from writers, philosophers, and policy-makers across nearly two centuries, as well as historiographical and historical analysis of archival documents (some of which have been recently declassified) and other media, Liberalism and Transformation narrates the messy history of emancipatory liberalism and its engagement with issues of war and peace. The book contributes to both a rethinking of liberal democracy and its relationship to world politics, as well as the effects of liberal internationalism on global processes. Furthermore, Liberalism and Transformation invites readers to reflect on global ethics and transformation in world politics. In the first place, it shows how ethical imaginings of the world have direct effects on actions of transformative importance. In the second place, it suggests that discourses are fluid, changing, and complex. 606 $aLiberalism$xHistory 606 $aViolence$xHistory 606 $aWorld politics$xHistory 615 0$aLiberalism$xHistory. 615 0$aViolence$xHistory. 615 0$aWorld politics$xHistory. 676 $a320.5109 700 $aTatum$b Dillon Stone$01024778 712 02$aSustainable History Monograph Pilot, 712 02$aMichigan Publishing (University of Michigan), 801 0$bEYM 801 1$bEYM 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910494571003321 996 $aLiberalism and Transformation$92435850 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01845nam 2200589Ia 450 001 9910778667803321 005 20230421033150.0 010 $a1-280-19140-6 010 $a9786610191406 010 $a0-309-59037-X 010 $a0-585-27352-9 035 $a(CKB)110986584752016 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000114138 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11130088 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000114138 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10101469 035 $a(PQKB)11384014 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3376185 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3376185 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10055180 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL19140 035 $a(OCoLC)697474954 035 $a(EXLCZ)99110986584752016 100 $a20001009d1997 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aBoundary layer dynamics$b[electronic resource] /$fPanel on Boundary Layer Dynamics, Naval Studies Board, Commission on Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Applications, National Research Council 210 $aWashington, D.C. $cNational Academy Press$d1997 215 $aix, 40 p. $cill 225 1 $aNRL strategic series 225 1 $aThe compass series 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a0-309-05742-6 410 0$aCompass series (Washington, D.C.) 410 0$aNRL strategic series. 606 $aBoundary layer (Meteorology) 606 $aOcean-atmosphere interaction 606 $aDynamic meteorology 615 0$aBoundary layer (Meteorology) 615 0$aOcean-atmosphere interaction. 615 0$aDynamic meteorology. 676 $a551.5/24 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910778667803321 996 $aBoundary layer dynamics$93740836 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02366nam 2200577 450 001 9910813047003321 005 20230808205239.0 010 $a1-62036-365-8 035 $a(CKB)4330000000002237 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001669786 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)16459776 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001669786 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)15003129 035 $a(PQKB)10828465 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4410194 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL4410194 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11169749 035 $a(OCoLC)945609883 035 $a(EXLCZ)994330000000002237 100 $a20160615h20162016 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aImproving professional learning $etwelve strategies to enhance performance /$fAlan B.
