Kelly, ? After thirty Falls ? is the first collection of essays to be published on the American poet John Berryman (1914-1972) in over a decade. The book seeks to provoke new interest in this important figure with a group of original essays and appraisals by scholars from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and the United States. Exploring such areas as the poet?s engagements with Shakespeare and the American sonnet tradition, his use of the Trickster figure and the idea of performance in his poetics, it expands the interpretive framework by which Berryman may be evaluated and studied, and it will be of interest to students of modern American poetry at all levels. What makes the collection particularly valuable is its inclusion of previously unpublished material ? including a translation of a poem by Catullus and excerpts from the poet?s detailed notes on the life of Christ ? thereby providing new contexts for future assessments of Berryman?s contribution to the development of poetry, poetics, and the relationship between scholarship and other forms of writing in the twentieth century. 410 0$aDQR studies in literature ;$v38. 606 $aPoets, American 615 0$aPoets, American. 676 $a811.54 701 $aColeman$b Philip$01565129 701 $aMcGowan$b Philip$f1969-$01565130 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910778353803321 996 $a"After thirty falls"$93834522 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01776nam 2200421z- 450 001 9910347054803321 005 20210211 010 $a1000038415 035 $a(CKB)4920000000101968 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/56038 035 $a(oapen)doab56038 035 $a(EXLCZ)994920000000101968 100 $a20202102d2014 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aPersonalised body counter calibration using anthropometric parameters 210 $cKIT Scientific Publishing$d2014 215 $a1 online resource (XXVI, 205 p. p.) 311 08$a3-7315-0174-0 330 $aThis book describes the development of a new method for personalisation of efficiency factors in partial body counting. Its achieved goal is the quantification of uncertainties in those factors due to variation in anatomy of the measured persons, and their reduction by correlation with anthropometric parameters. The method was applied to a detector system at the In Vivo Measurement Laboratory at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology using Monte Carlo simulation and computational phantoms. 610 $aAnthropometrie 610 $aAnthropometry 610 $aComputational phantom 610 $aComputerphantom 610 $aEfficiency calibration 610 $aEffizienzkalibrierung 610 $aMachine learning 610 $aMaschinelles Lernen 610 $aPartial body counter 610 $aTeilko?rperza?hler 700 $aPölz$b Stefan$4auth$01309648 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910347054803321 996 $aPersonalised body counter calibration using anthropometric parameters$93029508 997 $aUNINA
