This allows the construction of exactly solvable models in quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, high energy physics, solid-state physics, microelectronics and other fields. The 20 papers selected for these proceedings give an overview of this field of research unparallelled in the published literature; in particular the views of the leading schools are clearly presented. The book will be an important source for researchers and graduate students in mathematical physics for many years to come. In these proceedings, researchers and graduate students in mathematical physics will find ways to construct exactly solvable models in quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, high energy physics, solid-state physics, microelectronics and other fields. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Physics,$x0075-8450 ;$v324 606 $aQuantum physics 606 $aQuantum computers 606 $aSpintronics 606 $aMathematical analysis 606 $aAnalysis (Mathematics) 606 $aQuantum Physics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19080 606 $aQuantum Information Technology, Spintronics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P31070 606 $aAnalysis$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12007 615 0$aQuantum physics. 615 0$aQuantum computers. 615 0$aSpintronics. 615 0$aMathematical analysis. 615 0$aAnalysis (Mathematics). 615 14$aQuantum Physics. 615 24$aQuantum Information Technology, Spintronics. 615 24$aAnalysis. In addition, the major criminal law reform from 1975, the law of obligations reform of 2002 and the fundamental reorganization of the law with regard to insolvent debtors are well-known examples of a domestic reform will of a fundamentally legal nature. The Korean interest in the German experience of the last 25 years is all the more important Purely based on legal history, but also to be seen in the potential case of Korean reunification. Conclusion --$tBibliography --$tIndex 330 $aFrom the Korean War to the current conflict in Iraq, Paying the Human Costs of War examines the ways in which the American public decides whether to support the use of military force. Contrary to the conventional view, the authors demonstrate that the public does not respond reflexively and solely to the number of casualties in a conflict. Instead, the book argues that the public makes reasoned and reasonable cost-benefit calculations for their continued support of a war based on the justifications for it and the likelihood it will succeed, along with the costs that have been suffered in casualties. Of these factors, the book finds that the most important consideration for the public is the expectation of success. If the public believes that a mission will succeed, the public will support it even if the costs are high. When the public does not expect the mission to succeed, even small costs will cause the withdrawal of support. Providing a wealth of new evidence about American attitudes toward military conflict, Paying the Human Costs of War offers insights into a controversial, timely, and ongoing national discussion. 606 $aWar$xPublic opinion 606 $aIraq War, 2003-2011$xPublic opinion 606 $aMilitarism$zUnited States 607 $aUnited States$xMilitary policy$xPublic opinion 615 0$aWar$xPublic opinion. 615 0$aIraq War, 2003-2011$xPublic opinion. 615 0$aMilitarism 676 $a320 700 $aGelpi$b Christopher$f1966-$01465360 701 $aFeaver$b Peter D.$f1961-$01465359 701 $aReifler$b Jason Aaron$f1972-$01567723 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910778219503321 996 $aPaying the human costs of war$93839323 997 $aUNINA
