A research project funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council has produced new multispectral images of the palimpsest undertext in order to enable a thorough investigation of the manuscript and the creation of a complete electronic edition. This volume, co-authored by the members of the project, will provide a full account of the research undertaken by the project. Many advances have resulted from this research, which will be presented here for the first time in print. 606 $aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / New Testament$2bisacsh 615 7$aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / New Testament. 676 $a226.4/07 702 $aGreenlee$b J.H., $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aHoughton$b H.A.G., $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aHoughton$b H.A.G., $4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aLamb$b William, $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aManafis$b Panagiotis, $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aMyshrall$b A.C., $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aParker$b D.C., $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 702 $aParker$b D.C., $4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bDE-B1597 801 1$bDE-B1597 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996411333903316 996 $aCodex Zacynthius: Catena, Palimpsest, Lectionary$92813992 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04559nam 22006975 450 001 9910767584303321 005 20230810164413.0 010 $a3-030-14857-2 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-14857-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000008424363 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-14857-7 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5789405 035 $a(PPN)253967228 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000008424363 100 $a20190613d2020 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAfrica and the Sustainable Development Goals /$fedited by Maano Ramutsindela, David Mickler 205 $a1st ed. 2020. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (xxiv, 295 pages) 225 1 $aSustainable Development Goals Series,$x2523-3092 311 $a3-030-14856-4 327 $aIntroduction -- Varieties of Knowledge Society and the SDGs -- Lifelong Learning and the SDGs -- China?s Economic Embrace of Africa in Comparative Perspective -- The AU?s African Governance Architecture and SDG 16: A critical analysis of intersections -- African Mining and the SDGs: From Vision to Reality? -- Minding the Gap? Further, it argues that ? and demonstrates how ? the SDGs should be understood as an aspirational blueprint for development with multiple meanings that are situated in dynamic and contested terrains. As the SDGs have substantial implications for development policy and resourcing at both the macro and micro levels, their relevance is not only context-specific but should also be assessed in terms of the aspirations and needs of ordinary citizens across the continent. Drawing on analyses and evidence from both the natural and social sciences, the book demonstrates that progress towards the SDGs must meet demands for improving human well-being under diverse and challenging socio-economic, political and environmental conditions. Examples include those from the mining industry, public health, employment and the media. In closing, it highlights how international collaboration in the form of research networks can enhance the production of critical knowledge on and engagement with the SDGs in Africa. 410 0$aSustainable Development Goals Series,$x2523-3092 606 $aSustainability 606 $aGeography 606 $aHuman geography 606 $aMedical sciences 606 $aEducation, Higher 606 $aAfrica$xEconomic conditions 606 $aSustainability 606 $aRegional Geography 606 $aHuman Geography 606 $aHealth Sciences 606 $aHigher Education 606 $aAfrican Economics 615 0$aSustainability. 615 0$aGeography. 615 0$aHuman geography. 615 0$aMedical sciences. 615 0$aEducation, Higher. 615 0$aAfrica$xEconomic conditions. 615 14$aSustainability. 615 24$aRegional Geography. 615 24$aHuman Geography. 615 24$aHealth Sciences. 615 24$aHigher Education. 615 24$aAfrican Economics. 676 $a338.927 676 $a338.9607 702 $aRamutsindela$b Maano$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aMickler$b David$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910767584303321 996 $aAfrica and the Sustainable Development Goals$92080690 997 $aUNINA
