It is aimed at taking stock of the successes, challenges and achievements during this journey of making education inclusive and equitable. It responds to the educational needs of learners at all levels, regardless of their diverse needs, such as disability, gender, socio-economic status, race, ethnicity and language background. This book furthers the understanding and conceptualization of the notion of inclusion in education, and explores the challenges experienced during the operationalization and implementation of the process. It extends debates spawned by international and national policy mandates that sought to transcend exclusionary educational practices in order to realize inclusive societies and, by implication, inclusive classrooms. It offers a comprehensive conceptual framework for inclusive education in the Southern African context while drawing parallels from the regional and international experience. This book can be used as a reference or critical reading for scholars and researchers in the field of inclusive education. It will empower practitioners, administrators, teachers and school leaders, curriculum developers and planners, as well as policy makers with knowledge about theory and practice regarding inclusive education in the Southern African schooling system. 410 0$aSustainable Development Goals Series,$x2523-3092 606 $aInclusive education 606 $aEducational psychology 606 $aEducation and state 606 $aInclusive Education 606 $aEducational Psychology 606 $aEducational Policy and Politics 615 0$aInclusive education. 615 0$aEducational psychology. 615 0$aEducation and state. 615 14$aInclusive Education. 615 24$aEducational Psychology. 615 24$aEducational Policy and Politics. 676 $a371.90460968 700 $aHlalele$b Dipane$01453192 701 $aMakoelle$b Tsediso Michael$01109863 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910767513803321 996 $aInclusion in Southern African Education$93655708 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03794nam 2200577z- 450 001 9910410647603321 005 20210211 035 $a(CKB)4100000011354957 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/51538 035 $a(oapen)doab51538 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011354957 100 $a20202102d2020 |y 0 101 0 $a||| 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aLegal Mobilization in Large-Scale Land Deals$eEvidence from Sierra Leone and the Philippines 210 $cNomos Verlagsgesellschaft mbH & Co. Erfolgsbedingungenwerden durch rechtliche, soziale Mobilisierungs- und Business Management Perspektiven identifiziert und in vier Fallstudien aus Sierra Leone und den Philippinen spezifiziert. Abstract This book enquires how local communities affected by large-scale land deals make use of legal norms to protect their interests. It combines legal, social mobilisation and business management approaches to identify conditions that promise success in this respect, which are explored in four case studies from two countries: Sierra Leone and the Philippines. The findings of these studies show the relevance of the national legal opportunity structure, strong support networks and the specific characteristics of a company in this regard. The role of political elites and the unity of local actors are also discussed. This book is especially relevant for academics and practitioners interested in the relationship between legal frameworks and local reactions to foreign investors. It also contributes to the research literature on legal mobilisation by going beyond the Western world. Finally, the book offers perspectives on the 'middle ground' of social mobilisation phenomenons, which are neither social movements nor everyday resistance. 517 $aLegal Mobilization in Large-Scale Land Deals 610 $aAgrarinvestitionen 610 $aAgrarunternehmen 610 $aCivil Society 610 $adeveloping countries 610 $aEntwicklungspolitik 610 $aGlobal South 610 $aGlobaler Su?den 610 $aLand Deal 610 $aLandinvestitionen 610 $aLateinamerika 610 $aLatin America 610 $alegal mobilisation 610 $alegal norms 610 $alegal opportunity 610 $aNGO 610 $aPhilippinen 610 $arechtliche Mobilisierung 610 $aRechtsnormen 610 $aSierra Leone 610 $asocial movement 610 $aSu?dasien 610 $atransnational companies 700 $aSchramm$b Annette$4auth$0787519 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910410647603321 996 $aLegal mobilization in large-scale land deals$91754729 997 $aUNINA
