Her skal pædagogerne ikke optræde som mere- eller bedrevidende eksperter, som de indimellem tidligere opfattede sig selv som, men som dialogpartnere sammen med forældrene. Forældrene skal ikke informeres om, hvad pædagogerne har besluttet, at handleplanen for deres barn det næste halve år skal gå ud på. Forældrene skal udvikle grundlaget for handleplanen sammen med pædagogerne. Samtidig skal de være med til at videreudvikle den dialogiske forældreinddragelsesmodel.
