It will focus on the question of how Game Studies can profit from a Disability Studies perspective of en-/disabling gaming and issues of disability, (in)accessibility and ableism, and vice versa. Instead of departing from the medical model of disability that informs a wide range of publications on ?disabled? gaming and that preconceives users as either ?able-bodied,? ?normal? or as ?disabled,? ?deficit,? or ?unable to play,? our central premise is that dis/ability is not an essential characteristic of the playing subject. We rather intend to analyze the complex infrastructures of playing, i.e., the complex interplay of heterogeneous human and non-human actors, that are en- or disabling. Dr. Markus Spöhrer is a Postdoc research associate in the project ?The Interactive Gaze: On the Status and Ethics of Surveillance Images in Digital Games? at the International Center for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities (IZEW, University of Tübingen,Germany). He studied American Studies, German and English literature (University of Tübingen), and Media Studies (University of Miami). He has a doctorate in Media Studies from the University of Konstanz, Germany. His main research areas are dis/ability and digital Media, digital games, and Science and Technology Studies (STS). Prof. Dr. Beate Ochsner is a Professor of Media Studies at the University of Konstanz. Before, she was an assistant professor at the University of Mannheim and a guest professor at the Universities of Innsbruck, Basel, and St. Gallen. In 2002, she habilitated with the thesis DeMONSTRAtion. Zur Repräsentation des Monsters und des Monströsen in Literatur, Fotographie und Film. Also she is spokesperson of the research unit ?Media and Participation? and principal investigator of subproject 2 ?Techno-sensory processes of participation: App-practices and dis/ability.?. 410 0$aPalgrave Games in Context,$x2731-5037 606 $aGames 606 $aPopular culture 606 $aPeople with disabilities$xEducation 606 $aDigital media 606 $aGames Studies 606 $aPopular Culture 606 $aEducation and Disability 606 $aDigital and New Media 615 0$aGames. 615 0$aPopular culture. 615 0$aPeople with disabilities$xEducation. 615 0$aDigital media. 615 14$aGames Studies. 615 24$aPopular Culture. 615 24$aEducation and Disability. 615 24$aDigital and New Media. 676 $a790.196 702 $aSpo?hrer$b Markus 702 $aOchsner$b Beate 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 912 $a9910770273003321 996 $aDisability and Video Games$93875400 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03542nam 22005895 450 001 9910743349603321 005 20250612004719.0 010 $a981-16-9318-8 010 $a981-16-9317-X 010 $a981-16-9318-8 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-16-9318-2 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6897034 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6897034 035 $a(CKB)21325694000041 035 $a(PPN)260832480 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-16-9318-2 035 $a(EXLCZ)9921325694000041 100 $a20220225d2022 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aPermanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives for Gearless Traction Elevators /$fby Guoqiang Zhang, Gaolin Wang, Nannan Zhao, Dianguo Xu 205 $a1st ed. 2022. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Nature Singapore :$cImprint: Springer,$d2022. 215 $a1 online resource (185 pages) 311 08$aPrint version: Zhang, Guoqiang Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives for Gearless Traction Elevators Singapore : Springer Singapore Pte. Both basic principles and experimental evaluation have been addressed. This is achieved by providing in-depth study on a number of major topics such as speed detection at low-speed operation, starting torque strategy based on dichotomy and staircase methods, fuzzy self-tuning method, MPC and ADRC, etc. The comprehensive and systematic treatment of control strategies for cost-effective gearless PMSM traction elevators and practical issues are the major features of the book, which is particularly suited for readers who are interested to learn the control strategies for cost-effective gearless PMSM traction elevators. The book benefits researchers, engineers, and graduate students in the fields of ac motor drives and control strategies for cost-effective gearless PMSM traction elevators, etc. 606 $aElectric power production 606 $aAutomatic control 606 $aRobotics 606 $aAutomation 606 $aElectrical Power Engineering 606 $aControl, Robotics, Automation 615 0$aElectric power production. 615 0$aAutomatic control. 615 0$aRobotics. 615 0$aAutomation. 615 14$aElectrical Power Engineering. 615 24$aControl, Robotics, Automation. 676 $a621.877 700 $aZhang$b Guoqiang$01426877 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910743349603321 996 $aPermanent magnet synchronous motor drives for gearless traction elevators$93559266 997 $aUNINA
