Are libraries archival repositories and if so, what do they archive and how do they do it? This book proposes to discuss the relevance of the generally accepted boundaries between archives and libraries and to examine the long-term construction of document curation and the functions, at times quite distinct, at times more hybrid, that European societies attributes to them. Using case studies, the sixteen contributions in this volume trace the circumstances in which certain types of documents were considered as archival materials and how they were distributed in archives or libraries. They examine the criteria that served as a basis for such an institutional and documental distinction, and the way in which these choices conditioned sorting, selection, classification and consultation endeavours. They thus invite us to re-examine the genesis of documental collections, within? 517 $aArchives en bibliothèques 517 $aArchives en bibliothèques 606 $aHistory 606 $aLibrary, Information & Communication sciences 606 $abibliothèque 606 $aarchive 606 $aérudition 606 $apratique savante 606 $alibrary 606 $aerudition 606 $ascholarly practice 615 4$aHistory 615 4$aLibrary, Information & Communication sciences 615 4$abibliothèque 615 4$aarchive 615 4$aérudition 615 4$apratique savante 615 4$alibrary 615 4$aerudition 615 4$ascholarly practice 700 $aAbelló$b María Luisa López-Vidriero$01454115 701 $aCaparos$b Camille$01454116 701 $aChapron$b Emmanuelle$0472887 701 $aChastang$b Pierre$01285739 701 $aDaumas$b Shirley$01454117 701 $aDelmulle$b Jérémy$01289797 701 $aDe Pasquale$b Andrea$01454118 701 $aFeurtet$b Jean-Marie$01330489 701 $aHenryot$b Fabienne$0998454 701 $aHincker$b Louis$01235989 701 $aKchaou$b Sihem$01454119 701 $aLaboulais$b Isabelle$01236310 701 $aLatour$b Patrick$01454120 701 $aLeblay-Kinoshita$b Anne$01454121 701 $aLemaigre-Gaffier$b Pauline$01313990 701 $aLe Brech$b Goulven$01350167 701 $aMartignon$b Maxime$01454122 701 $aPortes$b Laurent$01454123 701 $aPotin$b Yann$01276435 701 $aRaines$b Dorit$0253495 701 $aRitz-Guilbert$b Anne$01291529 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910768383803321 996 $aArchives en bibliothèques (XVIe-XXIe siècles)$93656780 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05033nam 2200529Ia 450 001 9910739441603321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-4614-6348-3 024 7 $a10.1007/978-1-4614-6348-1 035 $a(OCoLC)834099686 035 $a(MiFhGG)GVRL6WLE 035 $a(CKB)2560000000103247 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1205308 035 $a(EXLCZ)992560000000103247 100 $a20130401d2013 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurun|---uuuua 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aStudies in phase space analysis with applications to PDEs /$fMassimo Cicognani, Ferruccio Colombini, Daniele Del Santo, editors 205 $a1st ed. 2013. 210 $aNew York $cBirkhauser$dc2013 215 $a1 online resource (xvii, 379 pages) $cillustrations 225 1 $aProgress in nonlinear differential equations and their applications ;$vv.84 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a1-4899-9940-X 311 $a1-4614-6347-5 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aPreface -- The water-waves equations: from Zakharov to Euler -- On the characterization of pseudodifferential operators (old and new) -- Improved multipolar Hardy inequalities -- The role of spectral anisotropy in the resolution of the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations -- Schrödinger equations in modulation spaces -- New maximal regularity results for the heat equation in exterior domains, and applications -- Cauchy problem for some 22 hyperbolic systems of pseudo-differential equations with nondiagonalisable principal part -- Scattering problem for quadratic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in 2d -- Global solutions to the 3-D incompressible inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes system with rough density -- The Cauchy problem for the Euler-Poisson system and derivation of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation -- L1 estimates for oscillating integrals related to structural damped wave models -- On the Cauchy problem for noneffectively hyperbolic operators, a transition case -- References. 330 $aThis collection of original articles and surveys, emerging from a 2011 conference in Bertinoro, Italy, addresses recent advances in linear and nonlinear aspects of the theory of partial differential equations (PDEs). Phase space analysis methods, also known as microlocal analysis, have continued to yield striking results over the past years and are now one of the main tools of investigation of PDEs. Their role in many applications to physics, including quantum and spectral theory, is equally important. Key topics addressed in this volume include: *general theory of pseudodifferential operators *Hardy-type inequalities *linear and non-linear hyperbolic equations and systems *Schrödinger equations *water-wave equations *Euler-Poisson systems *Navier-Stokes equations *heat and parabolic equations Various levels of graduate students, along with researchers in PDEs and related fields, will find this book to be an excellent resource.
