Not only was Gelli deeply interested in figurative art, attested in several works of his, he can also be considered one of the protagonists of the vivid sixteenth-century debates on Dante. 606 $aItalian poetry$xHistory and criticism 606 $aAesthetics 615 0$aItalian poetry$xHistory and criticism. 615 0$aAesthetics. 700 $aPini$b Carolina$01380228 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910733288403321 996 $aEstetica e Poetica in Giovan Battista Gelli$93421507 997 $aUNINA LEADER 07086nam 2200625 450 001 9910777007903321 005 20210616221754.0 010 $a0-231-50163-3 024 7 $a10.7312/webb12678 035 $a(CKB)1000000000445326 035 $a(EBL)908991 035 $a(OCoLC)818856479 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000165395 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11180178 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000165395 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10142173 035 $a(PQKB)11380458 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC908991 035 $a(DE-B1597)459431 035 $a(OCoLC)61168988 035 $a(OCoLC)979752779 035 $a(DE-B1597)9780231501637 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL908991 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10958804 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000445326 100 $a20141105h20042004 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#---|u||u 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 04$aThe great Ordovician biodiversification event /$fedited by Barry D. The first was the Cambrian explosion of skeletonized marine animals about 540 million years ago. The second was the "Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event," which is the focus of this book. During the 46-million-year Ordovician Period (489-443 m.y.), a bewildering array of adaptive radiations of "Paleozoic- and Modern-type" biotas appeared in marine habitats, the first animals (arthropods) walked on land, and the first non-vascular bryophyte-like plants (based on their cryptospore record) colonized terrestrial areas with damp environments. This book represents a compilation by a large team of Ordovician specialists from around the world, who have enthusiastically cooperated to produce this first globally orientated, internationally sponsored IGCP (International Geological Correlation Program) project on Ordovician biotas. The major part is an assembly of genus- and species-level diversity data for the many Ordovician fossil groups. The book also presents an evaluation of how each group diversified through Ordovician time, with assessments of patterns of change and rates of origination and extinction. As such, it will become the standard work and data source for biotic studies on the Ordovician Period. 410 0$aCritical moments and perspectives in earth history and paleobiology series. 606 $aPaleontology$yOrdovician 606 $aBiodiversity 615 0$aPaleontology 615 0$aBiodiversity. 676 $a560/.1731 702 $aWebby$b B.
