This book discusses this new scholarly situation. Scholars working with the Bible, especially the Pentateuch, and experts on the Samaritans approach the topic from the vantage point of their respective fields of expertise. Earlier, scholars who worked with Old Testament/Hebrew Bible studies mostly could leave the Samaritan material to experts in that area of research, and scholars studying the Samaritan material needed only sporadically to engage in Biblical studies. This is no longer the case: the pre-Samaritan texts from Qumran and the results from the excavations on Mount Gerizim have created an area of study common to the previously separated fields of research. Scholars coming from different directions meet in this new area, and realize that they work on the same questions and with much common material. This volume presents the current state of scholarship in this area and the effects these recent discoveries have for an understanding of this important epoch in the development of the Bible. 410 0$aStudia Judaica (Walter de Gruyter & Co.) ;$vBand 104.$x0585-5306 410 0$aStudia Samaritana ;$vBand 10. 606 $aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / Old Testament$2bisacsh 610 $aBible. 610 $aPentateuch. 610 $aQumran. 610 $aSamaritans. 615 7$aRELIGION / Biblical Criticism & Interpretation / Old Testament. 676 $a222.106 702 $aKartveit$b Magnar 702 $aKnoppers$b Gary N.$f1956-2018, 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910806931203321 996 $aThe Bible, Qumran and the Samaritans$94057803 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03227nam 22006615 450 001 9910717417603321 005 20251008133550.0 010 $a9783031286476 010 $a3031286472 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-28647-6 035 $a(CKB)5580000000533333 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-28647-6 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC7240946 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL7240946 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC7239607 035 $a(EXLCZ)995580000000533333 100 $a20230421d2023 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 14$aThe Developing Human Mind $eA Duality System of Meaning Making /$fby Tom Hagström 205 $a1st ed. 2023. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Palgrave Macmillan,$d2023. 215 $a1 online resource (X, 199 p. 10 illus.) 311 08$a9783031286469 311 08$a3031286464 327 $aChapter 1: Introduction -- Chapter 2: A developing phenomenon in modern societies -- Chapter 3: The generality of stage transformations -- Chapter 4: The evolution towards self-consciousness -- Chapter 5: Basic abstract duality distinctions -- Chapter 6: The transforming duality forms -- Chapter 7: The meta system character -- Chapter 8: The duality system as cognition, socialization, and organization -- Chapter 9: General conclusions, intelligence, and challenges. It elaborates on why this system has developed evolutionary, how it develops in the life courses of humans in modern societies and what hampers and promotes its progression to meet contemporary and future societal challenges. Tom Hagström is Professor Emeritus at Stockholm University, Sweden, PhD and licensed psychologist. He has been engaged for several decades in research as well as in methodological and theoretical development focusing mainly people`s action and development conditions in important life course and work life transitions. 606 $aDevelopmental psychology 606 $aMaturation (Psychology) 606 $aSocial psychology 606 $aCognitive psychology 606 $aDevelopmental Psychology 606 $aCognitive Development 606 $aPersonal Development 606 $aSocial Psychology 606 $aCognitive Psychology 615 0$aDevelopmental psychology. 615 0$aMaturation (Psychology) 615 0$aSocial psychology. 615 0$aCognitive psychology. 615 14$aDevelopmental Psychology. 615 24$aCognitive Development. 615 24$aPersonal Development. 615 24$aSocial Psychology. 615 24$aCognitive Psychology. 676 $a155 676 $a374 700 $aHagström$b Tom$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01354046 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910717417603321 996 $aThe Developing Human Mind$93294457 997 $aUNINA
