The experts participating in the project describe how SODALITE works and how it can be exploited by end users. While multiple languages and tools are available in the literature to support DevOps teams in the automation of deployment and operation steps, still these activities require specific know-how and skills that cannot be found in average teams. The SODALITE framework tackles this problem by offering modelling and smart editing features to allow those we call Application Ops Experts to work without knowing low level details about the adopted, potentially heterogeneous, infrastructures. The framework offers also mechanisms to verify the quality of the defined models, generate the corresponding executable infrastructural code, automatically wrap application components within proper execution containers, orchestrate all activities concerned with deployment and operation of all system components, and support on-the-fly self-adaptation and refactoring. 410 0$aSpringerBriefs in applied sciences and technology 606 $aComputer software$xDevelopment$xManagement 606 $aSoftware engineering 610 $aHeterogeneous Computing 610 $aCloud, Edge 610 $aHPC 610 $aIaC 610 $aDevOps 610 $aSemantic Reasoning 615 0$aComputer software$xDevelopment$xManagement. 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 700 $aDi Nitto$b Elisabetta$4edt$0855666 701 $aDi Nitto$b Elisabetta$0855666 701 $aGorroñogoitia Cruz$b Jesús$01255072 701 $aKumara$b Indika$01255073 701 $aRadolovi?$b Dragan$01255074 701 $aTokmakov$b Kamil$01255075 701 $aVasileiou$b Zoe$01255076 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996483158103316 996 $aDeployment and operation of complex software in heterogeneous execution environments$92910074 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01492aam 2200397I 450 001 9910710575003321 005 20160426110501.0 024 8 $aGOVPUB-C13-5fefe6589ce798cd26ec542da1c29fe1 035 $a(CKB)5470000002477545 035 $a(OCoLC)947843980 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002477545 100 $a20160426d1985 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 181 $2rdacontent 182 $2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 10$adevelopment of near-field test procedures for communication satellite antennas $ephase I, part 1 /$fAllen C.
