Confidence in distress data requires a measure of error because of the bias and precision components of its variability. No systematic evaluation has been performed to quantify the bias and variability associated with both the manual and PASCO film-based distress data. In view of this, this study was undertaken by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to assess the variability of the LTPP distress data, including those in the Information Management System (IMS) and those currently being collected using either photographic or manual methods. 517 3 $aStudy of Long Term Pavement Performance distress data variability 606 $aPavements$xPerformance$xMathematical models 606 $aPavements$xEvaluation$xMathematical models 606 $aPavements$xMaintenance and repair$xMathematical models 615 0$aPavements$xPerformance$xMathematical models. 615 0$aPavements$xEvaluation$xMathematical models. 615 0$aPavements$xMaintenance and repair$xMathematical models. 700 $aRada$b Gonzalo R.$01386488 712 02$aTurner-Fairbank Highway Research Center, 712 02$aLaw PCS (Firm) 801 0$bOCLCE 801 1$bOCLCE 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910709688803321 996 $aStudy of LTPP distress data variability$93435440 997 $aUNINA
