(d. 711/1311), a little-known H?anbali? Sufi master from the circle of Ibn Taymiyya (d. 728/1328). The first part of this book follows al-Wa?sit?i??s physical journey in search of spiritual guidance through a critical study of his autobiographical writings. This provides unique insights into several important manifestations of Sufism that he encountered as he travelled from Wa?sit? to Baghdad, Alexandria, Cairo, and finally, Damascus. The second part focuses on his spiritual journey through a study of his Sufi writings, which convey a distinct type of Sufism that was specifically formulated within the boundaries of traditionalist theology as he understood it. 410 0$aStudies on Sufism ;$v6. 606 $aMysticism$xIslam 606 $aSufism 606 $aSufi poetry 610 $aSufi 610 $a?Im?d al-D?n A?mad al-W?si?? 610 $aReligion 615 0$aMysticism$xIslam. 615 0$aSufism. 615 0$aSufi poetry. 676 $a297.4092 676 $aB 700 $aPost$b Arjan$0917877 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910420946303321 996 $aThe journeys of a Taymiyyan Sufi$92058118 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01741nam 2200469I 450 001 9910704273203321 005 20160115130921.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002438940 035 $a(OCoLC)934820138 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002438940 100 $a20160115j201504 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aIndividual global navigation satellite systems in the space service volume /$fDale A.
