More than 20 years of gender mainstreaming have demonstrated that equality governance with and through impact assessment is an intersectional and still evolving process. Arn T. Sauer's study examines the instruments of gendered policy analysis and the conditions under which they are being used by the Canadian federal government and the European Commission. Interviews with experts from public administration and instrument designers as well as document analyses reveal benefits and challenges and show that the success of equality governance depends upon whether knowledge about gendered policy and appropriate administrative practices are embedded, embodied and entrenched in public administration. 330 1 $ağDer Band ist ein wichtiger Beitrag zur feministischen Governance-Forschung, gerade aufgrund der Bildung von Analysekriterien und Typologien zur Bewertung von politischem Handeln in Institutionen.Ğ Regina Frey, Femina Politica, 2 (2019) 410 0$aEdition Politik 606 $aGender identity$xGovernment policy$zCanada 606 $aSex discrimination$xLaw and legislation 606 $aGender identity$xLaw and legislation 607 $aEuropean Union countries$2fast 607 $aCanada$2fast 610 $aPolitical Science 610 $aGender Equality 610 $aGovernance 610 $aPolicy Analysis 610 $aIntersectionality 610 $aGender Mainstreaming 610 $aAccountability 610 $aGender 610 $aPolitics 610 $aLaw 610 $aGender Studies 610 $aPolicy 610 $aAdministration 615 0$aGender identity$xGovernment policy 615 0$aSex discrimination$xLaw and legislation. 615 0$aGender identity$xLaw and legislation. 676 $a305.42 700 $aSauer$b Arn$01264599 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996309235303316 996 $aEquality governance via policy analysis$92965477 997 $aUNISA LEADER 02306oam 2200733 450 001 9910704133103321 005 20181101090626.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002438335 035 $a(OCoLC)910726371 035 $a(OCoLC)995470000002438335 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002438335 100 $a20150605d2015 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aIraq's Shia warlords and their militias $epolitical and security challenges and options /$fNorman Cigar 210 1$aCarlisle, PA :$cStrategic Studies Institute and U.S. Army War College Press,$d2015. 215 $a1 online resource (x, 114 pages) 300 $a"June 2015." 300 $aPaper version available for sale by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Publishing Office. 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (pages 69-114). 517 $aIraq's Shia warlords and their militias 606 $aWarlordism$zIraq 606 $aShi??ah$zIraq 606 $aInternal security$zIraq 606 $aInternal security$2fast 606 $aMilitia$2fast 606 $aPolitics and government$2fast 606 $aShi??ah$2fast 606 $aStrategic aspects of individual places$2fast 606 $aWarlordism$2fast 607 $aIraq$xMilitia 607 $aIraq$xPolitics and government$y2003- 607 $aIraq$xStrategic aspects 607 $aIraq$2fast 615 0$aWarlordism 615 0$aShi??ah 615 0$aInternal security 615 7$aInternal security. 615 7$aMilitia. 615 7$aPolitics and government. 615 7$aShi??ah. 615 7$aStrategic aspects of individual places. 615 7$aWarlordism. 700 $aCigar$b Norman L.$0244443 712 02$aArmy War College (U.S.).$bStrategic Studies Institute, 712 02$aArmy War College (U.S.).$bPress, 801 0$bAWC 801 1$bAWC 801 2$bNLGGC 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bGPO 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bNKM 801 2$bGILDS 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910704133103321 996 $aIraq's Shia warlords and their militias$93461527 997 $aUNINA
