The operatic presence of the Greco-Roman gods and heroes was anything but unambiguous or unproblematic, however. This book highlights myth's chameleonic life in the Italian 'dramma per musica' and French 'tragedie en musique' of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. 517 3 $aDisembodying myths in Ancien Re?gime opera 606 $aMythology, Classical, in opera 606 $aOpera$zFrance$y17th century 606 $aOpera$zFrance$y18th century 606 $aOpera$zItaly 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aMythology, Classical, in opera. 615 0$aOpera 615 0$aOpera 615 0$aOpera 676 $a782.10944 701 $aForment$b Bruno$0890769 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910462054103321 996 $aDis)embodying myths in Ancien Re?gime opera$91989817 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02002oam 2200553 450 001 9910702766003321 005 20150305131546.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002430537 035 $a(OCoLC)895846200 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002430537 100 $a20141118d2014 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aDeployment of additional U.S. Armed forces to Iraq $ecommunication from the President of the United States transmitting a letter directing the deployment of up to 475 additional U.S. Armed Forces personnel to Iraq 210 1$aWashington :$cU.S. Government Printing Office,$d2014. 215 $a1 online resource (1 unnumbered page, 2 pages) 225 1 $aHouse document / 113th Congress, 2d session ;$v113-171 300 $aTitle from title screen (viewed on November 18, 2014). 300 $a"Referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs." 300 $a"November 12, 2014." 517 $aDeployment of additional U.S. Armed forces to Iraq 606 $aIntervention (International law) 606 $aHumanitarian assistance, American$zIraq 606 $aHumanitarian assistance, American$2fast 606 $aIntervention (International law)$2fast 607 $aIraq$2fast 608 $aLegislative materials.$2lcgft 615 0$aIntervention (International law) 615 0$aHumanitarian assistance, American 615 7$aHumanitarian assistance, American. 615 7$aIntervention (International law) 702 $aObama$b Barack 712 02$aUnited States.$bCongress.$bHouse.$bCommittee on Foreign Affairs, 801 0$bGPO 801 1$bGPO 801 2$bGPO 801 2$bCOO 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bUBY 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910702766003321 996 $aDeployment of additional U.S. Armed forces to Iraq$93449729 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04075nam 2200757Ia 450 001 9910780739803321 005 20230721024358.0 010 $a1-282-71507-0 010 $a9786612715075 010 $a3-11-022434-8 024 7 $a10.1515/9783110224344 035 $a(CKB)2480000000000005 035 $a(EBL)511869 035 $a(OCoLC)642206483 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000423994 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11270539 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000423994 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10468398 035 $a(PQKB)10102081 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC511869 035 $a(WaSeSS)Ind00014834 035 $a(DE-B1597)37927 035 $a(OCoLC)951150647 035 $a(DE-B1597)9783110224344 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL511869 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10373523 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL271507 035 $a(EXLCZ)992480000000000005 100 $a20140717d2009 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 12$aA new glimpse of Day One$b[electronic resource] $eintertextuality, history of interpretation, and Genesis 1.1-5 /$fS.D. With Day One, Genesis 1.1-5, as the primary text, the intertextuality of this biblical text is investigated in its Hebrew (Masoretic Text) and Greek (Septuagint) contexts. The study then broadens to take up the intertextuality of Day One in other Hebrew and Greek texts up to c. 200 CE, moving from Hebrew texts such as Ben Sira and the Dead Sea Scrolls to Greek texts such as Josephus, Philo, the New Testament, and early Christian texts. What emerges from this is a new glimpse of the intertextuality of Day One that provides insight into the complexity of the intertextuality of a biblical text and the role that language plays in intertextuality and interpretation. In addition to the methodological insights that this approach provides to the history of interpretation, the study also sheds light on textual and theological questions that relate to Day One, including the genesis of creatio ex nihilo. 410 0$aBeihefte zur Zeitschrift fu?r die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kunde der a?lteren Kirche 606 $aIntertextuality in the Bible 606 $aJewish religious literature$xHistory and criticism 606 $aChristian literature, Early$xHistory and criticism 606 $aIntertextuality 610 $aCreation. 610 $aGenesis. 610 $aHermeneutics. 610 $aInterpretation. 610 $aIntertextuality. 615 0$aIntertextuality in the Bible. 615 0$aJewish religious literature$xHistory and criticism. 615 0$aChristian literature, Early$xHistory and criticism. 615 0$aIntertextuality. 676 $a220 700 $aGiere$b S.
