The event took place in the beautiful city of Avignon, France, June 5?7, 2007, was jointly or- nized by INRIA and the University of Avignon and was hosted by the latter. Internet communications and services areexperiencing an increasein volume and diversity both in their capacity and in their demand. This comes at the cost of an increase in the complexity of their control and optimization, mainly due to the heterogeneity in architecture as well as usage. The need for new ways of e?ectively and fairly allocating resources belonging to a wide set of not necessarily cooperative networks to a collection of possibly competing users is urgent and is the aim of this conference. Speci?cally, this conference aims at developing research on control and op- mization of the Internet, ranging from performance evaluation and optimization of general stochastic networks to more speci?c targets such as lower-layer fu- tionalities in mobile networks, routing for computational grids, game theoretic approaches to access control, cooperation, competition and adversary capacities in diverse environments. 410 0$aComputer Communication Networks and Telecommunications,$x2945-9184 ;$v4465 606 $aComputer networks 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aComputer programming 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aApplication software 606 $aComputers, Special purpose 606 $aComputer Communication Networks 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aProgramming Techniques 606 $aSoftware Engineering 606 $aComputer and Information Systems Applications 606 $aSpecial Purpose and Application-Based Systems 615 0$aComputer networks. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aComputer programming. 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aApplication software. 615 0$aComputers, Special purpose. 615 14$aComputer Communication Networks. 615 24$aAlgorithms. 615 24$aProgramming Techniques. 615 24$aSoftware Engineering. 615 24$aComputer and Information Systems Applications. 615 24$aSpecial Purpose and Application-Based Systems. 676 $a004.6 702 $aChahed$b Tijani$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aTuffin$b Bruno$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 02$aEuroNGI. 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910483221503321 996 $aNetwork Control and Optimization$9772183 997 $aUNINA
