Absolute allele identification was not achieved with this method, but it was found to be suitable for comparative analysis, as demonstrated by validation of the results and conclusions from capillary electrophoresis. The nine CODIS Short Tandem Repeat loci and a gender discrimination locus used in this study have a greater than 5E+07 matching probability suitable for small sample sizes. 517 $aRapid and inexpensive PCR-based STR genotyping method for identifying forensic specimens 606 $aForensic genetics 606 $aDNA fingerprinting 606 $aPolymerase chain reaction 615 0$aForensic genetics. 615 0$aDNA fingerprinting. 615 0$aPolymerase chain reaction. 701 $aKupfer$b Doris M$01382138 712 02$aUnited States.$bOffice of Aerospace Medicine. 712 02$aUnited States.$bFederal Aviation Administration. 712 02$aCivil Aerospace Medical Institute. 712 02$aAdvancia. 712 02$aDNA Solutions. 801 0$bGPO 801 1$bGPO 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910695369703321 996 $aA rapid and inexpensive PCR-based STR genotyping method for identifying forensic specimens$93425249 997 $aUNINA
