In this chapter we first provide a short description of the state-of-the-art models and methods used for modelling molten salts at the atomic scale. In particular, we discuss the importance of polarization effects for obtaining accurate results. We then give some examples of the structure of several molten salts, as yielded by the simulations. We finish by describing how the transport properties, which encompass the diffusion coefficients, electrical conductivities, viscosities and thermal conductivities, are computed. By comparing the values given by the simulations to reference experimental data, we show that this technique can now be considered as highly predictive"--$cProvided by publisher. 606 $aFused salts$xAnalysis 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aFused salts$xAnalysis. 676 $a546/.34 701 $aLantelme$b Frederic$0859431 701 $aGroult$b Henri$0859432 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910452599503321 996 $aMolten salts chemistry$91917987 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01547oas 2200469 a 450 001 9910692808103321 005 20080613110216.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002357408 035 9 $aocm37662017 035 $a(OCoLC)37662017$z(OCoLC)44394159 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002357408 100 $a19970922b19uu2005 sa 101 0 $aeng 135 $auran||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aSheep$b[electronic resource] 210 $aWashington, D.C. $cAgricultural Statistics Board 300 $aTitle from title page (viewed June 6, 2008). 300 $aDescription based on: Apr. 21, 1995; title from screen caption. 300 $aLatest issue consulted: July 22, 2005. 300 $a"MtAn 5-2." 330 $aFull-text file presents the sheep and lamb inventory by class for selected states or regions and U.S. Data includes expected lamb crop, market sheep and lambs inventory by weight group, number returned to breeding herd.
