This lack of durability can occur even when the structural design of the pavement is adequate. The distress that result from this lack of durability is refereed to herein as materials-related distress (MRD). This report documents the investigation of MRD in concrete pavements and the development of a set of systematic guidelines for the evaluation of MRD. The guidelines developed cover three major areas of MRD: Field distress survey, pavement sampling, and sample handling; laboratory testing, data analysis, an interpretation; and treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention. 606 $aPavements, Concrete$xTesting 606 $aPavements, Concrete$xMaintenance and repair 606 $aPavements$xPerformance 615 0$aPavements, Concrete$xTesting. 615 0$aPavements, Concrete$xMaintenance and repair. 615 0$aPavements$xPerformance. 701 $aVan Dam$b Thomas John$f1960-$01382694 712 02$aTurner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. 712 02$aMichigan Technological University.$bDepartment of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 801 0$bQK7 801 1$bQK7 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910691904903321 996 $aGuidelines for detection, analysis, and treatment of materials-related distress in concrete pavements$93426579 997 $aUNINA
