Mijuskovic explores these theories within the context of psychological issues, where the discussion is undergirded by the conflict between loneliness and intimacy. He also explores them in the context of ethics, where the dynamic is between the values of good and evil. The book historically traces these issues in both a personal as well as a political framework. Ben Lazare Mijuskovic was associate professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills, USA, prior to retirement. He is also a licensed clinical therapist and has worked for many years with the San Diego and Los Angeles Departments of Mental Health. . 606 $aPhilosophy and social sciences 606 $aIntellectual life$xHistory 606 $aEthics 606 $aPolitical science$xPhilosophy 606 $aPhilosophy of the Social Sciences 606 $aHistory of Ideas 606 $aMoral Philosophy and Applied Ethics 606 $aPolitical Philosophy 615 0$aPhilosophy and social sciences. 615 0$aIntellectual life$xHistory. 615 0$aEthics. 615 0$aPolitical science$xPhilosophy. 615 14$aPhilosophy of the Social Sciences. 615 24$aHistory of Ideas. 615 24$aMoral Philosophy and Applied Ethics. 615 24$aPolitical Philosophy. 676 $a128.2 676 $a128.2 700 $aMijuskovic$b Ben Lazare$01066919 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910686474403321 996 $aTheories of Consciousness and the Problem of Evil in the History of Ideas$93170767 997 $aUNINA
